  4. The late 80s R model with airride cab has the exaust bracket that bolts to the frame where the cab crossmember is, you should be able to find a R model with the same bracket, get the serial number and order 2 of them. Ron
  5. Trent i never thought about the fuel tank , if you have a 80 gallon tank you might have a hard time routing the left pipe. Ron
  6. Is your exaust mounted on the cab or on a bracket to the frame, if i was doing it i would look at some CH613 exaust brackets, i have seen 3-4 differant offset brackets, i bought ( 2) part number 8ME560M brackets to put on my B61, i have a box sleeper on it and have to put the exaust behind the sleeper, they look like they would work on the R model. 11. You could check the truck junkyards Mack has been putting airride cabs on R models since 1980-81, might be cheeper if you take it off and get everything you need. Ron
  12. Kevin, another thing do you have a radiator that goes down to the bumper, i think the charge air cooler takes a bigger radiator could make your engine over heat. Ron
  13. You might look to see if you have enough room in front, it think the charge air cooler hood might be 2-3" longer, maybe someone on the site might know. Ron
  14. I have a 1988 Mack engine tune-up specifications manual, it said intake boost pressure @ rated speed is 15-23 psi for E6-300 4VH, the E6-350 4VH is 20-28 psi
  15. I wonder if it has anything to do with vacuum brakes, did they make vacuum over air brakes, it has a fitting that a hose slips on. Ron
  16. Where are you going to mount it, i know they go in front of the radiator, are you going to install a bigger radiator to keep the engine cool or mount it somewhere else.
  17. Another way to tell is the injector lines go in the head under the exaust manifold on a 4 valve, 2 valve injector is on the top left of the engine.
  18. Does it have a wire on top of the valve cover, if it does it is a dynatard , a jake has a spacer plate under the valve cover and the wire comes out of it.
