  1. Yup,it just a matter of whats gonna break first, rear, drive shaft or you can just rip the engine and tranny from the mounts, thats how much torque those tyranny's put out..
  2. That's where a 12 speed comes in handy!
  3. Just buy new ones,I may be wrong but I don't think they are serviceable, way to dangerous..
  4. The tire shop I use here on Long Island ny will powder coat tubeless rims any color for 60 apiece,I know a few guys that use aluminum color paint, looks good..
  5. Could the air gov be defective?
  6. They would look sweet on a hobby truck but I would not use them on a working truck,I saw a set once on e-bay a while back,250 sounds like a good deal, what would it cost to ship here,,
  7. I had 5" straight with a dump truck stack on my 83,no issue with noise as long as the windows were closed..
  8. lol wouldn't that be great,I use one of those j shaped crow bars, pry it out, very easy, maybe I don't understand how you do it,you don't hit on the bearing it's self do you?
  9. What the heck are you guys telling him, just pry the seal out,it will pop right out, don't go beating on your bearings with a brass punch or anything else..
  10. Just got a price on them, best my guy could do is 600,I have 50,000 miles on mine now and thats on a dump truck,no problems at all.JT take a look at the continentals also there great on the front nice and wide,at about 550 each for the 12.00
  11. Nice to bad it doesn't have 2stacks on it..
  12. They do make a two piece clutch brake,I never installed one thou,is you clutch adjusted right do you have an inch or two of free pedal.
  13. + 1
  14. Just don't forget when it expires, dmv said they will not notify you,you must keep it updated on your own..
  15. I saw some of the letter on line and it says do not go to dmv, everyone gets a special certification form in the mail and it is bar coded to the person being sent to,they give you 60 days to respond or they cancel you license. It must be costing all the states big bucks to comply with this,I wonder who is gonna pay for it after all said and done..lol
  16. Any one in nys get the confusing letter from dmv, from what I heard if you drive interstate you need the med certificate, intrastate no,you must self certify to one or the other and that determines whether or not you need it,just going by what a buddy told me,anybody got any first hand info..
  17. Sounds like you got it narrowed down to the front tires,I would try a better brand tire.
  18. Saw this one while working a few weeks ago, talked to the owner and he said it runs and drives.
  19. Also being in the dump truck business I just like the way the narrower cabs look sittin in front of the dump body..
  20. I used to love to rest my hand on the passenger seat in my rd,took a while to get used to the wide cab of the cl,keep throwing my hand over there just to grab some air lol
  21. My 96 cl has less leg room than my much older last truck 1983 rd,I got the seat jammed back as far as it will go and still all cramped up,maybe its got something to do with the seat witch is the original seat that came with the truck,it's a pain to even get my foot on the clutch pedal and I'm under six ft tall..
  22. From what I can see one thing hasn't changed much with Mack cabs,no leg room, how do you tall guys deal with it and why don't they make the cabs a little deeper..
  23. Got my answer from Mack truck parts,$$$$$$
  24. 1996 cl 350,where the fuel lines attach to the lift pump looks like a check valve type fitting, are these a serviceable part or do I need to buy a new lift pump, fuel line fitting broke off inside it and cant get it out,the check valve screws out so I'm thinking its replaceable..
  25. Yes absolutely, don't take anyone's word for it,that engine should be marked in front of the inj pump on the timing cover, you need to know what the rear ratio is to figure top end and if tranny is direct or over drive..good luck
