that's bout right I was thinking $7,000.00 to $8,000.00 for just the truck .

A lot tight turns there . the old Cornbinder sounds sweet . 78 gears in a truck that lil single axle IH Ought to pull a house down w/ a 13 spd, 3spd brownie & 2 spd rear-end. Hey No Clue ya want to haul those Malibu boats w/ that truck brother ?

He probably means Lube thingy . & ya id say that have something to do w/ it but yall are right it is a bit over priced . but the truck itself looks clean like Joe said . needs some block letters & :mack1:hood script on it though . A lube truck sure makes life eaiser when ya got a bit of equipment to service @ once . for the price of this truck you could probably buy a small fuel/lube trailer to pull behind a 1ton or bob truck & don't have to have the Hazmat endorsement on the CDL , insurance, upkeep & other expenses Of an extra truck .

ya if I had a need for the fuel/lube body id offer him $15k . id like to have it for a s/a dump , but like I said id put a 6spd in it or a 7 or 8 spd Mack tranny in it . like having that extra low gear fer soft ground .

Ya Tom hadn't talk to him much this week . I changed phones (my phone # still the same ) & lost most of my contacts . I Fourtunly had yours & Joe's # wrote down on a pad w/ some other #'s . last time I talked to him was last week he ran to the Show me state (Mo.)

There was 2 other truck brands we ran other than & & that was GMC & Autocar DC & DK Series (ours were Made by W.M.C & Not V&LV#) . reason why we ran GMC Brigadier,General & 9500's was cause they was a poor man's truck & could buy them fairly cheap they just would go where the bulldog & Acar would go though. . far as A-Car goes it was the truck that would hang w/ a Bulldog (@ least here in my neck of the woods ) Most of the Redi mix companies here round Memphis back in the day ran Mack's & Autocars & that was it . The Autocars we had (& a few bulldogs) came from a redi mix company out of Memphis & pop was friends w/ some of the drivers @ the time so they let him know when the old trucks were about to go up for sale . my 1st choice was & always will be what im named after but my 2nd choice was always the DC & DK Series Acar . Just my 2 cents & yall have a great one .

My dad & granddad (aka pop) ran 970,1070, 1175,1370,1570, 2390,& 2590 Case tractors , IH 66 ,06,26 & 56 series farm tractors on the farm through the years & we had a 480 Case Backhoe & A 850E & 850G Case dozers & a 1155E Case Loader through the years in the excavating business . So ya im a Case man there is a couple of pics of me when I was 2 0r 3 on a 1070 Case w/pop & another pic of me bout the same age in the operators seat in front of the "case controls" of our 480 Case backhoe @ the time. if I had a scanner id scan em & post em . Tho we had Cat loaders ,dozers & excavators I really got my experience operating the 850's & 1155 w/ that damn box tween my legs to steer the crawler with they anit to bad once ya got used to it plus a case crawler had an ACCELERATOR INSTED OF DECELERATOR .
