2011 Mack Trident MP8 Air compressor carbon

When the compressor builds to 120 psi n the govoner cuts out ....... the compressor free wheels and the air intake to motor sux the oil up past the compressor rings n the heats burns the oil to make carbon Make sure the engine aircleaners are clean with no restriction as this is when the oil is suxd up past the rings in compressor simple fix to try is fit a small tractot air cleaner specially for compressor th@ way bypass n the main engine aircleaner we have also found the copper pipe from compressor to 1st tank cokes up n restricts to air flow cya §wishy -

FlatWork Gudday m8 Wot we do is clunk the gear lever into 1st gear (the biggest badest gear in the box) th@ slows the gears down to stop spinn n then push cog selector into desired gear we do this also to engage G/Box PTO cya §wishy

Ok we have all had our thorts on the New Mack so why not put up your version of a truck My post so eye'll go 1st (suffer) we dun sleep in cabs az we only day trippers (U can geta lot dun in a day) Power = 2000 ft lb with jakes or better 18 speed duble OD @ least 48ooo diffs with cross locks n diff lock mechanical rear suspension (not Air) spider spoke wobbly wheels all round Short as practicable Wheelbase for manouver n round suburban streets (roundabouts etc) CAB Tilt Bonnet with jack cab up for servise n 90" BBC There My dream truck LOL WotSezU cya §wishy

Mrs m80 me nose less than U Had AirOMatic Power Steering many moons ago different feel of the rd wen drive n straight U got manual steerin wen U turn the steersmans wheel the air would tend to oversteer till U got use 2 it run n a dolly ( jeep 2 U lot ) under a LowBoy wen reverse n in low gear @ idle revs U tend to run out of air very quikly try n 2 chase the correct steer cya §wishy
