  1. Mark....I will take an English muffin instead of rye but otherwise....yum yum!
  2. Speaking of TK....On a side note....got my "Hooters Hose Fix" last week. Wifey and I spent a week in Tucson. Ate at Hooter's twice! Wifey said "the food was good"...and I said "they serve food?" BTW, did not see any Macks but did see lots of airplanes, jets, and cactus.
  3. Quiet? This group? Never.... We are just mesmerized by the nice (and speedy) work on your B.
  4. Jim, Those look like Bustin steps.
  5. Rob is correct D7G had D3306T (91V DD and 92V PS) along with ROPS. D7F had D333T engine (DD 93N and PS 94N).
  6. Any Mack dealer should be able to get the correct matching steps. My MH uses steps and deck plate manufactured by Bustin (www.romcorp.com).
  7. Contact your local Mack dealer. They can order one specifically for your truck, but they are not cheap. Keep watching eBay and you may find one that will be close to your specs.
  8. Happy Birthday Joe! Enjoy your day. Let us know if you need help eating the cup cakes.
  9. Paul?
  10. I guess others know what a prove light is but I do not. Please tell me (and Ron) what is a prove light. Thanks!
  11. Are you getting blue smoke? If not, then check for worn/misfit valve guides, no "slobber" shields, or unburned fuel (injectors). If you are blowing blue smoke, likely oil and/or compression rings installed incorrectly. Just thought of another thing...was the engine "broke in" to seat the rings? Did you install new liners or rehone the old ones?
  12. The oil can still look "clean" and be contaminated with metals and or fuel. Good idea to have the oil analyzed.
  13. Tom, Nice winter scenery. Thanks for all your road trip pics.
  14. If it was me I would paint the sheet metal and then install the glass and seals. As was mentioned, that is how it is done at the factory. I hate to see "poorly" masked rubber with overspray. If you are going to take the time to do it, do it right. Just sayin'.
  15. I will take the two (2) cream puffs.
  16. Blue Ox Exhaust Brake? www.brakesystemsinc.com
  17. Dr. Don at the Mack Museum thinks the picture was taken around 1978. He also thinks the trucks are the "first" Valueliners built at Macungie. And he confirmed the picture was taken in front of the WHQ. On a side note...I was thinking "what happens when the old Mack guys are gone?". Reminds me of a George Jones song "Who's Going to Fill Their Shoes."
  18. Happy Birthday to FWD's dad. Hope it was a good one...and many more. Someday we need to have a loooonnng talk about your son.
  19. What Jim said ^^^^^^^
  20. Hey Mark, Amazing what money can do for looks. Thanks Tim! Oh Barry....I need more LIKES!
  21. I am outta LIKES but I like all the above! Tim - I don't care what her name is but she is hot. Did all the Mack Fax have centerfolds? I have a few but never saw one with a centerfold....and I am sure I would notice that.
  22. Tim, Where can I get a copy of that Mack Fax with MH on front cover....and centerfold too? Later......off to fleabay.....
  23. Mike, Interesting article. Thanks for posting. I wonder if Rifleman knows anything about the MH 4x4? Ron, I think you and Tommy need to talk.
  24. Ron, It took me awhile to see the truck too. It is one of those trick pictures that a person can see several images depending on how you look at it. Hmmm, I think she is wearing hose....mmmm (but I digress).
  25. David, And how is it tied down?
