  1. Ben, I wish all kids (and some adults) thought like you do. The world (and future of the world) would be a better place. As for the upside down pictures...I am not "bent out of shape" but if the "modern" devices post them that way....that is NOT acceptable. Maybe if you own a new fangled device, your neck can swivel to view the pics upright but my old neck cannot swivel very far. If you can't take the time to download them correctly, why bother to post them at all? This falls under the same category as spelling and grammer. My two and a half cents.
  2. My MH has a short wheelbase so hopefully it will not be too difficult. Hopefully I will not have to back-up too often.
  3. So you call them and hopefully they can "talk" you into something else.
  4. Congratulations!!!! You lucky dog! Enjoy it and post some (right-side up) pics when you get a chance.
  5. Yep, congratulations and good luck on the next 500K.
  6. Good news...well you know what I mean. It could have been worse (not saying it is not bad) but all things considered. Will keep you and your family in my prayers. Thanks for the update! Hang in there and plan to see you in Macungie.
  7. About that much and 1/2 turn more... Seriously...send Barry a note and see if he can porvide the correct torque. Otherwise, follow Jim's suggestion. I would suggest supporting the tank while tightening.
  8. Brilliantly engineered and brilliant truck are two different things. Us engineers always have a "better" idea.
  9. Someone on BMT buy it????
  10. David - I agree, this one smells. At least there are phone numbers to call...local police station or "cat" house? Truck looks too good to sell for $3000. If it were closer I might be interested. I should call and listen to his "story".
  11. CDL test requires backing in straight line, backing into another lane, and backing into a loading dock. An optional backing test is parallel parking. Backing on a "test" course is easier than real world. That is why I want a short trailer but I have been told short trailers have their issues too.
  12. Saw this listed on eBay...Buy Now Price $3000 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Flat-Nose-Mack-Tractor-MH6-/171014995688?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item27d149bee8
  13. JD thatcher and blade look nice. Too bad the JD blade will not fit my garden tractor.
  14. Mike, Nice trucks! Let me know if you need a place to park them.
  15. Seen it before but NEVER get tired of watching it again.
  16. Good to hear you finally received the machine and it is in nice condition.
  17. Finally stopped and took some pics of the two (2) Mack off-highway trucks at MP45 (east bound side).
  18. I did not go out back to see the "shiny" trucks. Lots of people in attendence. First time I saw the main building full and the far building next to the west arena full. Great turnout...I hope this is a good sign for the business. Have an idea for a modified golf cart...
  19. Sorry to hear of your misfortunes. When I was in college I went to the car dealer to get some parts for my car. I romped on the throttle as I pulled into the parking lot but when I went to stop, I noticed a patch of ice. I slid into the side of a new car and bashed the passenger door in with my front bumper. I was more upset than the new car manager. Didn't do anything to my car. As they say...doo doo happens!
  20. At least the important part is right side up.
  21. Yes all HD engines are sleeved. Some of the small LD engines are not sleeved.
  22. Found these this morning in the far corner...ATHS exhibit. I must of had the camera upside down when I took these pics.
  23. Then the moral of the story is DON'T use a mobile device to post pics.
