  1. Each week I start the MH to charge the batteries and move it. After shutdown I always drain the moisture from the air tanks. Well today after I pulled the cable on the LH tank and released the cable, I could hear air continue to leak. I pulled and released the cable several times thinking the drain valve was either sticking or a piece of dirt was keeping the valve from seating. No luck. I looked at the valve and it is rusty. I got my can of PB Blaster and sprayed on the threads. Bubbles formed around the threads. Maybe that is why my air is leaking down so fast (but I previously never heard an air leak). Some questions: 1. Can PB Blaster be used to free pipe fittings? 2. Are the tank threads rusted and need a new tank too? 3. If the valve breaks off, do they make an "easy out" for pipe threads?

  3. Shouldn't as long as it is on wheels and not on a permanent foundation.
  4. Dang....I'm impressed! Nice explanation.
  5. Can I be your assistant?
  6. Dang...Wouldn't you know, something like this shows up after I buy my trailer.
  7. Looks like you got them all. Thanks for posting!
  8. I will be in OH that weekend. Boardman is less than 2 hours from me. It depends on my "honey do" list and motivation (to do the honey do list).
  9. Welcome to BMT! This is your place for info (valuable and not so valuable). Just be forewarned....we like pics!
  10. Welcome to BMT Joe! Nice dumper! Thanks for the intro and pic.

I am getting too old to twist my head to look at sideways or upside down pics. Loose the iPhone and get a real camera.
  17. Nice toys. I have a Dodge Matchbox like that in my collection. I also have a Roadway with a COE Chevy/GMC tractor.
  18. And a winfall wommin.
  19. Saw this auction listing...has some Mack trucks and other trucks. http://www.kikoauctions.com/?nav=auctions&details=3367
  20. The ECMs monitor back presssure (high and low). If the back pressure is too low it will set off a code.
  21. Nice. Too bad it has a Cummins engine but it is the interior I like/want.
  22. We needed more light for the pic so I took it off. If you look closely, there is a black string around my neck and the John Deere straw hat is behind me. The JD hat is my standard show dress (when the sun is shining) and I added a bulldog pin. Nekkid? That would not be a pretty sight!
  23. Forecast was for rain all weekend in Canton...so the wif made a casserole. And as luck would have it, it never rained! WTF?
  24. Where is the "vinny vid"?
  25. I think I tried using the blue valve and nothing happened. My guess is it is bypassed. I will take the dash cover off and take a look. I don't hear any air leaking since I replaced the TT valve (yellow knob). Air definitely leaks down quicker with the trailer lines disconnected. The test truck were I worked would hold air for weeks, it was a 2008 model.
