  20. Vinny the DM600 steers ,opening hood two stick and working 5th wheel. Good kit. Here is a model of the DM800 I drove for Horan Sand and Gravel in 1980. A DM600 and a Holmes wrecker from an ATHS. show a few years ago. Paul

We use a lot of ex mil 6x6 as forest fire trucks here, for parts reliability and availability they are all generally up dated to Cummins 5.9 or 8 liter diesels, New Process 6 speeds and transfer cases. A few are Allison autos. These units spend 90% off road loaded with 5 to 6 crew, 750 gallons of water and fire retardant, 2 pumps and misc other gear. The combo is reliable and generally bullet proof. Paul
  22. Being my first unit with an ECM I didn't know the mileage could be pulled up. I'll ask the dealer to pull that up on monday One has a single rail chassis 3 have double rails. Like I said the electronic controls are an entirely new world for me on trucks. thanks Paul
