  1. On the receiver dryer. The electric switch. It reads high and low pressure. It will affect compressor operation. But you said its pumping. What are the pressures when the A/C is on Maximum? Thats really needed for us to help you further. Also,,,, was too much PAG oil injected during the last repair? That can also affect refrigerant performance.
  2. 3? One is windage, and the other is elevation...
  3. External.. likely a Sanden pump. Have you looked at the binary switch on the receiver dryer? They can get loose at the plug and cause issues, similar to Freightliners of that era. Turn the A/C on and gently wiggle that plug.. see if the pump kicks on.
  4. So you pulled the plastic duct on the right side of the doghouse and peak inside at the core for dirt clogging the evap core ? It is a common issue.

  14. You could just unplug the wires from the spacer, hook a test light to the wire, get the engine temp above 150, and then use the engine brake while sitting in the shop. Test each plug on low and high setting.. easy breezy ..
  15. Yes. The exh. Manifold on your engine is restrictive. When you pull the injector lines, you can use 320 emory cloth to touch up the ends and remove the grooves. Then use brake clean with the red tube to flush each line after you buff them. When re installing them, torque them to 40 lbft, back them off and re torque to 25-30 lbft. This will condition the ends to the seats. Once this is done, loosen 3 of the easy ones to get too at the head.pump the hand primer till fuel spills and tighten it down. Do each one individually. The engine will fire up within an minute of cranking..
  16. 6 in a row, makes them go....
  17. Its still in place. Its a slow process because it's the City, and the DMV here is so crappy, that it takes up to 3 months to get a permit test. We have 1 guy with an 'A' permit, and i have 2 guys due to test. May 28+ June 10... I did take one guy on the job site and showed him some stuff, but we need a real training session with our tractor trailer..
