  1. Re gearing would do it. GW do you think 3.90:1 would do ? Theres a lot of DS 404+405's around. Of course i dont know the fine points of Eaton's model numbers.
  2. The black plastic duct coming from the right side can be diss connected from the HVAC box, and carefully pryed open about an inch. I made a cardboard tube the fits aver a shop vac hose, then flattened the end, sealed with duct tape, then cut a small opening an inch back on one of the flat sides , and used it to vacuum the coil.
  3. Is it a full mechanical injection pump? If so the reversing relay is on the intake manifold, and a line runs around the front to the bimber valve in the front end of the injection pump. It may have been removed .
  4. I would think you would need to buy an air ride back half and so the swap. If i remember right the 'Z' springs are different and the hangers and torque arms as well. Do you have an air ride truck to look at and take measurements ? I did a 96 CH-613 many years ago, but it was a Camelback truck.

    Hub oil seal

Are you having trouble getting one using the vin. ? Do you have an issue bigger than just a leaking seal ? Do you have it apart yet ? The seal number is on the inside if the seal. I expect it to be a Stemco Voyager series with the inner seal ring that has a dowel pin to isolate it.
  6. I dont recall a junction block, but theres 2 buss bars on the firewall near the steering shaft. 14 or 15 posts each. What has failed ?
  7. Well my E-7 Books start at 1994.. So here is what I have. The note about the part number change is from an E-7 overhaull book, the others are from the tune-up book. Jojo https://photos.app.goo.gl/cM312umDRyBaBFFx7
  8. I will post a link here in a minute
  9. Just for kicks, I went to my F.M.C.S.R. book from 2018. And to my surprise, it only says, no caps on bus steer axles. However, i was told that caps on any steer axle is illegal. Personally i wouldn't want caps on a steer axle, but its seems to be legal. The tire section is a short one. Its on Page 351,,, section: 393.75... I cant post pictures...
  10. Interesting post. So a capped steer tire would have been sold as a trailer tire, or an 'all position' tire ? I didnt know about weight limits for regrooved tires. I would assume Schneider Natl'. knew the ruling there... I drove cab overs for them from mid '98- late '99, and i saw them using an iron to trace out the grooves and sipes . I thought it was pretty neat at the time. I do see, 'regrooveable' cast in to the sidewall of some drive tires..
  11. My wife smokes American Spirit in the Blue box.. $11.82/pack at our corner store.. How?? Cigs aint worth $3/pack.
  12. I just realized it was my 58 power wagon army truck that i pulled the tires off with the rims still mounted, not the KB.. anyway, i was smart enough to not get hurt..
  13. Ok. Well when i did clean my wheels and break them down, i did have them off. Guess i should study better 😝
  14. Isnt that the rim style on my KB ? They are true split rims.. I understand them, knowing the ring holds it all together and the air is in a tube.. im not eloquent, but i get it, and have no fear of doing tire work on that style. Hell, dont need to take the rim of for front or outer tire change or tube repair.
  15. Yep... Cumby's... Used to buy their boxed doughnuts... Chocolate with powdered sugar.. great right out of the fridge.. I wonder if Country Kitchen made them ??
  16. Damn. Ok guys. The only one i heard was no caps on steer axles, no biggie, just asking.
  17. Perfect... This is the Trump i like..
  18. With respect to Yarnall and other farmers, I have read a couple reports on cuts to farmers. I certainly hope American farmers have our govt. on their side, maybe not as a welfare program, but to be there to improve our food supply chain. I also hope the cost to operate these farms will come down, as well as needless regulations going away.
  19. I think it is, and covers the return back over the bridge.. i wanted to fuss about paying $20.00 to go over the George Washington Bridge decades ago,, but figured i was not in touch with today's cost... 🍻
  20. Nice go. Adkat... I dont know these trucks, but i feel like you are tuned in.. i was thinking about a shuttle valve if it is a manual transmission... But..... I watching.. 🍺
  21. I have seen some people post some serious threats on X... They think they can get away with that.. I dont know.... I wouldn't dare do that..
  22. That Bastard....
  23. On the back side of the coolant tank should be a buss bar with about 15 posts on it. Your trailer cord attaches there, and goes to the back. You will need a green cord with no plugs on the ends.
