The GVW on mine is 16,500 pounds. But ...... I certainly wont be testing its strength.. I just want to drive it around town... 🤫 -

Vlad... You hit the nail on the head !! A wooden flatbed, grocery getter for sure, and hopefully a hay wagon in local parades... -

Vlad, I used this little compartment under the seat to hide my modern wiring. I will do my best to hide the modern changes. I did blast and paint some parts that are out of service, and mounted them back in their spots, so that I can show what was there in 1948... I do not have a high skill set nor the money to give this truck what it deserves, but I will make it go down the road. -

Vlad, It is hard to find time. I have a full time job, and several everyday drivers to keep road worthy. The pictures I posted spans over 3 years. I went back through my history to create this posting. Vlad, the engine does run good, and the driveline is strong. I pulled all the wires out due to condition. I am making it a 12 volt negative ground truck. I am currently looking for a starter. I will post a picture of my new wiring set up. Thank you..🍻 -

It is Terry.. -
I sure hope it lasts a long time.. The effort to fix this this was up there.. It started out as a coolant leak from the left intake gasket. I ended up doing those, coolant sensors, thermostat, valve cover gasketrs, vacuum lines, coolant hose, I.A.C., Distributor, and..... oh yeah, the water pump...
-
todays parts scare me too. I put a distributor in my Chevy van a few months ago. The choices were many, the country of origin,,, not so much. I think I paid $60.00 for it. so far... it runs great.

Here is today's picture's. 5/10/26. My Wife bought that ladder for me a while ago. It's really handy for me. I'm only 5'-9'' and 18'' thick.. That ladder showed up in a damaged package and was all scratched up and the cushion was torn. After submitting a complaint, Fed/Ex refunded her $190.00. So we got it for free. I didn't expect that. -

The R has less than 300,000 on it. Paint was done in 2000, and it was a tandem, he shortened it.. -
Yep. Not the right pressure. Like fjh said, 60-80 psi is good. Im still looking for a chart or whatever is out there with pressure ranges..

Mark,, I wasn't thinking at the time.. maybe he posts a selfie.. -
I went to the Spencer Truck show today. It was a nice day, the show was cool as always, but it was a small show, and there was a threat of rain. I did get to meet ''The Heinz'' and a friend of his. They were really nice yooung guys from a couple hours away.. Turns out The heinz and I worked for the same Mack dealership just at different locations. I'm sorry I dont have a lot of pictures. It takes an effort for me to post them.

Navypoppop,,, My guess is they KNOW what will come down on them after the U.S. and allies leave... It reminds me of crime in Black neighborhoods in my area.. When sh!t goes down, know one will talk to the cops.. they fear retaliation... I liken it to that...

B95 axle fluid level
Joey Mack replied to BVFD84's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
So.... even though this truck is decades older than what I worked on.... All service books from my era says , you put your pointer finger in the hole and bend the first knuckle. If you touch oil, its right... Approx.. 5 MM down from the hole 1/5" American.... 🍻 -
Happy Birthday to Brocky !! I hope you have a great day !! 😀 🎂🥳

2005 Mack e7 turbo speed code
Joey Mack replied to Farmermechanic's topic in Modern Mack Truck General Discussion
I would think so, but.... I would need to look at it, to be sure that the sensor is inserted in a dry area. I dont remember an oring on it, with that said it should be a dry area.. what say you? One thing I know for sure is that if the turbo is passing oil into the compressor volute, you are buying time before the engine runs away... -
Big oil will announce their Billions in profits in the next profit report, likely quarterly... They can cut the cost to us... Grocery companies act the same way... all of our Esentials are laced with greed. Someone is doing the math to figure out how to take every dollar we make so that we have to rely on the Govt... when that happens, where's the money to support the tyrants going to come from???
