  1. It pulled good, I ran out of rear gear.. if it had an 8LL OD. I think I could have gone 70 MPH.. I dont need to go fast, just dont need to get run over.
  2. It ran great. It has never left the city lomits in its near 30 years of life. When I parked it, there were no drips, or bad smells.. next time i drive it i may were ear muffs. 😁
  3. I got to drive this little Jewel today... I had to bring those 2 pumps in for repair.. The shop is 92 miles away.. I was a rolling road block for 4 hours.. I bet I made a lot friends who told me I was #1... take note of the speedo, and the original miles on the inline 6 cummins. I think its a 12 valve..
  4. Good point.. 👍
  5. Hmmm,,, Thats not how I remeber it O.D. Must have been when my back was turned... 🍻
  6. Im with Mrs. O.D..... 🍻

  9. I'm telling you The mack engine is a tough S.O.B.
  10. sounds like you are on a good path.. I expect you to be pleased with the end result as long as you stay diligent..
  11. Yep, that is why I suggested .002'' thicknes gauge... If it doesnt fit then it's good...
  12. G.W. There is truth to just ''Knowing'' it's good to go.. You speak a truth..
  13. Well, for almost 2 million miles, I will say the bushings look great. Do you have a .002'' thickness gauge or a sliver of steel shim paper to cut a thickness gauge out and use it to check the fitment? If it was mine and on a budget, I would wash my hands good and dip my finger in some oil and feel the bushings for any grooves and go from there... This may not sound professional, but Ive done it many times..
  14. here is my old junk.. I bought these almost 30 years ago along with some 2-4'' mic's. for $75.00 at a yard sale at an Antique store in Scarborough Maine... I think it was called Centervail Antiques...
  15. Oh hell thats nice.. pricy too..
  16. Freightrain, I bet we have the same bore gauge set. Mine is in a faded orange case. Yes to the feel.... if they rock back and forth, its worn. If it slides smooth back and forth, they are good. Yes to the copper color.
  17. If remeber correctly, the clearence is .0015". Can you post pics of the bushings in their current state ?
  18. Well looky there. Otherdog and Blackdog2 share a bitthday. Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊!!!!
  19. One thing for sure is... My Pup's are going to have some yummie treats when I make stock and pick the bones... They sit and stare at me and quiver while I pick the meat off the bones..
  20. With the pressure switches being new, do you have the normally closed and normally open switches in the right spots? But you did say with them unplugged it still sounds out.. still leaning towards a backfeed...
  21. Well,,,,, Here it is. still juicy as far as pulling the wings goes..
  22. Does it cut off if you unplug the turn signal switch, ? I am leaning towards an electrical backfeed... due to a grounding issue..
  23. Well, I know We should cook a Ham,,,, but,,, We love us some turkey. I brined it for 4 hours, and it is smoked for 2 hours at this point. It will soon go in the oven to finish in our turkey roasting pan. The short brine and smoke time is intesional. It is currently averaging 155 degrees, Terri likes it well done , so, at 180- 185 degrees. I will pull it and let it rest on the counter.. The dark meat will surely be juicy and free of any redish juice that turns my wife off..
  24. Isnt that a multi buzzer? It also sounds out with the turn signals, right ? And power divider if you have a locker. ?
  25. Am I losing it ?? I looked back a page or few, and saw a different picture. Ive seen this one before... Still pretty good,..
