  1. Yes Brocky,, a day later its gone.. unlike where we came from. Hell Hippy is knee deep in it now... up there in New Hampster..
  2. In my case, the engine was outside uncovered sitting in the B chassis for years... the injectors were stuck more than just a rusty oring, they were STUCK.
  3. Here is a breakfast meal that my wife found. It is made with a 10'' flour tortilla. I prep the ingredients that I want , scrammble 2 eggs in a bowl the way you like them, on the large burner, put a 10'' non-stick pan with a little butter. I used chicken fat. cook on the lowest setting. place the tortilla in the hot pan, add the goodies you want in it and spread them thinly over the tortilla, pour the egg mix evenly over it, season with herbs iff you want to, cover with a tall lid, I use my wok lid. 10 minutes like this, then add cheese and cover another 5 minutes, you can check egg doneness as you go. this took my a couple tries to get it right all the time. when your happy with egg doneness, slide it out of thepan on a cutting board, let cool 5 minutes. you can cut it like a pizza. I fold it in have and let it sitt a bit longer before cutting it to make sure it doesnt ooze out the sides, then I split it and destroy it. Brocky,, I dont know if gluten free tortillas are in the store, but if they are, this may be a good one for your son.. I make 2 of them on sunday and it turns in to 4 breakfast's to take to work.
  4. Talk about packed with dirt... the parts engine that i needed the heads from had mouse nests built to the top of the valve covers. I cant seem to find the pictures. The mouse urine had rusted the rocker assemblies to the point they were too pitted to use. Good luck...
  5. I just looked at your first post last summer.. Awesome seeing that tip turbine sittin on the trailer.. youve come quite a ways since then.. 🍻
  6. Shouldnt be metric. Do they turn a bit? The oring is probaly rusted and stuck. My 673 took hours the get them out. I used penatrating oil and a long big screw driver to work them back and forth and every so often i would pry them up and rotate the best i could. I also had to work the studs out at the same time. It sucked because i didnt ever do it before. The heads were from an engine that sat outside, uncovered..
  7. The coldest i experienced was in Rangley Maine back in early 90's was -45 degrees. I could not get into my car because the doors were frozen shut. When it warmed up to -20 a few days later, I was able to drive my sled in to town. I would cut across Rangley lake to get there. Looking back.... I would like to do that again... but I have been in N.C. 20 years, so Im probably a wimp now...
  8. 🤔
  9. I see the AD-IS.. thats like the one I was suggesting. The one I called an AD-6. I dont think I made up that unit number, however..... who knows ? 😄
  10. I forgot to add that those are chunks of chicken in there, picked off the boiled trimmings. I also skim the fat off the top when it cools, and use it to fry some of my meals, like burritos for example..
  11. The AD-6 is a spin on. I use my Cat oil filter tool to replace them. To me, very easy to maintain.. all good..
  12. GW ? What do you think about ditching that old one and installing either an AD-6 or an ADIP model. I prefer the AD-6..
  13. So.... Heres a twist. something my wife and I have been doing for years. When I trim chicken parts, I make stock.. Then add in frozen pee's, carrots, green beans, broccoli, and cauliflower, or combinations of them. this time its pee's and carrots... We mix this into our Pup's dry food..... They go nut's over it..
  14. Interesting GW. The 3179 DF john deere engines I built says use Dawn and water mixed, and be quick because the oring will swell. Those liners had 3 different types of orings, so position was key.
  15. I dont like how it is being portrayed.. The news makes it look like President Trump is just going to take over the country. I prefer a business deal.
  16. There ya go..
  17. Terry, on January 5th he posted a picture of the block without liners. The bores are dry. So he may be just fine without the hold down bolts. I used them when I did a 673 a few years ago.
  18. Yes terry. Hold down bolts for sure. But I think his block has dry liners that are pressed in. Myself I would use the hold down bolts anyway..
  19. A 2007 CL. Man, sure would love to see a picture of that yruck on here..
  20. You have it up on 1 as well.. Luv it.
  21. yes to the 45 degree twist coming out. keep in mind when you install the pistons the oil on the rings (which is needed) also allows that heavy piston/rod combo to slide all the way down til it hits something. IE: crank journal or piston cooling tube.. A helper who can catch the rod on its way down may be needed.
  22. Yep. Im home sick, so I have Fox News on T.V. I just saw him say that...
  23. He is one of few democrats that I will stop and listen too. At first I thought he was dissrespectful because of his wardrobe, which I still dont care for, but I respect his thought process'
  24. I have a fresh long block for sale. Its an E-Tech. I put steel lifters in it and the cam key is set to high horse power . It also has Jacobs 690 engine brakes. I also have manifolds an engine harness, the oil cooler leaks, but should still be available. P.M. me your phone number if youd like. Jojo
