  1. 04' ? So you dont have the big VGT turbo and the EGR crossover pipe ?
  2. Exactly !!!!! Bottlehauler.. Exactly...
  3. What year and model are you driving?
  4. What i heard was he was filming in order to match the car to 2 other incidents with her that day.
  5. when I get it put together and cleaned out, i'll post pics. it has a really nice interior. It could use a paint job, it looks rough.
  6. that one is H.E.I. with a throttle body. It runs great.
  7. Thanks Paul. I hope I used enough RTV to seal the valley gaskets. I dont want any oil dripping. It ws very tight work area. I did RTV on both sides of the cork gaskets and in the seams as well.
  8. it is sad that she was killed, but her actions are parallel with the attitude on the left. They think they are do-gooders when they try to impede law enforcement. Too many of our police officers are being killed each year by dirt bags. This women thought she was above the law. This was also the 3rd. time that day that her and her girlfriend block I.C.E. agents from doing their job. They were looking for trouble, and found it. We are free to protest, but using a vehicle to block traffic, and even weaponizing the vehicle is wrong. Now there are groups that are destroying business' and other property in the name of the woman who got shot... Some of those protester may reach the same fate.
  9. Yes to feelers. Not trying to confuse you, just curious myself. My gut tells me you are good. Especially with your skills. Im also assuming you have long feelers or metal shim paper like I have. Ill take a break for a bit. Still waiting for other comments.
  10. I may be wasting your time, but since they are 1 pc. Pistons, can you slide a ring less piston in to take the measurements?
  11. Gotcha.
  12. Fjh... youre always that guy.... 🍻
  13. I dont know, but it looks like the range is .0025" avg. Does measuring the new bore and the new pistons give you the answer? I should assume you did that. Sorry, scratching my head too.. I hope another guy sees this to answer you. Maybe, fjh, or mechohaulic, MarkT, ....
  14. Isnt the part number stamped inside the old pistons ? I cant remember...
  15. Well I got the top of the engine back together. I sand blasted and painted some parts. Thought it might look good. It fired right up. My match marks on the distributors worked great. Time for some cold 🍺... I still have to do the water pump and then I good test drive.
  16. So i just watched the video.... What a P.O.S. Police officer.. He must be making money on the side within his ' latin community'...
  17. Exactly.. havent opened the link, but all i need to see is the cop's look on his face...
  18. 🤔
  19. Im glad you got the correct specs, and glad I didn't post incorrect info. Im working from memory... looking forward to the video of it running like a clock.
  20. My wife found a Pizza recipe using cottage cheese, eggs, parmesan cheese, and fresh garlic. I added herbs to it before we baked it. You bake the crust for 35 minutes at 400, let it rest for 10+ minutes, then build the pizza and put it back in for 10+ minutes. It was really good.. Really...
  21. Man oh man... how true is that O.D.? I'll start,,, Its true..
  22. One thing I remember is that liners have a .002" crush when installed. That said, i never measured the pistons, when I had correct part numbers. As far as wrist pin bushings go, i do slide the wrist pin in the bushing with light coating of oil. I guess i developed 'the feel' for the fitment. I beleive the clearence fro them is .0015" . I hope some of this helps,
  23. I bet you will need one of those widgets 2 weeks later... 🍻 How do I know..?
  24. its too bad that people are trained to disrespect law enforcement, without fear. These bold acts by protestors are going to result in more bloodshed.
  25. Nice.... looks like you saved yourself some headaches..
