  4. I would check them out good and if everything seems in order such as all the lights work starts and runs builds and holds air I would grease it check all of the fluids change the fuel filters adjust the air pressure in the tires to about 50 psi and head home and enjoy the adventure

  8. Hey Mackaholic that’s a real good looking truck with that color scheme I’m wondering if that truck didn’t belong to MidEast truck and tractor out of East Canton Ohio

Either set up works good don’t know what your plans are as for how much it’s going to be used but if I was buying new I would go with hydraulic but if I was looking for used I would go with a chain drive just because they are easier to find either one will need a power take off and a hydraulic will need a tank and pump and necessary hoses
  10. Like Terry said it sounds like the clutch is stuck this is fairly common if the truck has sat for a considerable amount of time
  11. I was there in about 2001 maybe I saw a different truck but a lot of things are similar including the V8 the lift axle and the interior
  12. No I looked at it in Madisonville Ky right after the man who built it had passed away and his widow had it for sale
  13. When I saw this truck in person there was also two blue and white Kenworths with KT Cummins one had a air lift third axle the other one didn’t
  14. I saw that truck in person in the early 2000’s do you know what happened to the two matching Kenworths with KT Cummins in them

  16. This truck belongs to a friend of mine and it’s still in daily use and he said he could get it recored but he said it would take 3 months and he needs the truck but if any one knows of a radiator shop with a quicker turn around time please let me know

  20. If your air pressure drops during braking it’s more than likely you have a bad brake chamber
  21. Paul both of the lines were disconnected at the tank valve area I’m trying to figure out how to hook them up correctly
  22. So with this valve the air tank is filled through the valve?
  23. It never had maxis service brakes only both lines from the glad hands to the tank and distribution valve have been disconnected trying to figure out how they need to be hooked up
  24. No it’s a oil field float it’s made to let the nose down onto the ground the only landing gear is made out of pipe and folds up
  25. It has air brakes on it now but they are service brakes only no maxi brakes I just bought it and the old lines were disconnected and I’m trying to figure out how to hook them back up
