  1. On the US versions, there is another fuse panel in the side box under the bunk for those circuits.
  2. I think you should buy the 237 that I have sitting in my yard. Good runner around 100k miles. Gregg
  3. We got married at Vernon Downs lol still visit the casino occasionally. My wife used to work there until I dragged her down to PA.
  4. Interesting counterpoint to the current UPS thread, which details entire useful trucks being crushed. I personally applaud Estes' thought process on this. Keep what you can use, and sell the rest. What's wrong with that, UPS?!?
  5. Good looking litter! What part of Central NY? My wife is originally from Hamilton. Welcome aboard!
  6. My first guess would be lines are reversed.
  7. Many try to alter the ride quality by adjusting height. No, no, no! Wrong! There is a specific height spec measurement for every type of air suspension that must be maintained.
  8. Nice truck for a fair price. I just forwarded this to my friend who may be interested.
  9. My 2000 CX, and I noticed my 1985 MH, are plumbed into the intake manifold, on the pressure side of the turbo. I seem to remember losing boost pressure through the air compressor, solved that by putting the small individual filter on the compressor, but then having trouble with air compressor failures. Apparently the intake air temperature is too hot under the hood, that is why most newer models are plumbed into the engine air system. In my research, I found CX's plumbed to either side of the turbo, never determined a rhyme or reason.
  10. Over the years I find an air-ride trailer makes all the difference. Even camelback is not too bad. It's the trailer that bucks you in the ass.
  11. Get an R parts truck, you a will have everything you need.
  12. Just bring beer I'll sign anything you want. It won't be an issue until one of us runs for public office.
  13. Each and every IC that I drank was worth AT LEAST the 40 cents I paid.
  14. I remember Dillwyn, as well. Nice ride, beautiful country, but I picked up a bulk load of pyrite in my aluminum dump trailer, it stuck so bad it took me 3 days of hard labor to get it out. I can laugh about it now, good trucker story, but wasn't much fun at the time.
  15. Met a driver years ago in Ohio, had a 7 axle dump truck. Curious, I asked how much he could legally haul with all those axles?!? He replied, "18 tons". I shook my head and walked away... seems more trouble than it's worth for 18 tons payload. Seems that could be done with a 3 axle truck in most states.
  16. Nice to see familiar places in the pictures of the week. I don't get away from the I-95 corridor much anymore, glad you could come up our way and visit. I also recognized ELG in McKeesport, took many scrap loads there when I was dump-truckin'. Don't miss that place all that much, used to park there to sleep overnight, if not you could be waiting in line until noon. I would stage my truck in line, then walk up the hill to a neat little bar & grill to eat supper. Been at least 4 years ago, but they had 40 cent Iron City draughts during the week.
  17. Several times a week, I travel from Baltimore back home to the Lehigh Valley. Almost always go 30/222, unless there is an issue there. I-83/ I-81/I-78 is downright dangerous.
  18. Didn't see it at Macungie. I wonder where it's going?
  19. Mahan's has that truck now?!? It certainly has moved around since I sold it. From NJ to Florida to Ontario and back to NJ. Glad to hear it is in good hands. I lost track after the auction sale in Florida, last rumor I heard was it was being stretched and slammed and whatever else the youngsters do to ruin good trucks nowadays. Hopefully now it will remain a survivor.
  20. Here's one a buddy of mine from Liberty, NY bought new in 1977. Went to a dealer in Iowa to pick it up. RS 600.
  21. Did you expect any less of government bureaucrats?!?
  22. If the opportunity presents itself, then you got a way cool truck, and a local connection, too.
  23. Four years ago, I had to source used cylinder heads, Allentown Mack said they were no longer available.
