  1. Tewe's used to have yellow and black fendered Mack B tractors. Is TEWES STILL AROUND.
  2. BCR as I remember they were B-63"s with the turbo 205's. Sweet smooth sounding engines. Could have been B-613's. I am thinking they had about 5 or 6 of them.
  3. Not enough to keep Renault and Volvo out of the bloodline.
  4. At first I didn't like the looks of the RB but now its one of my favorite R's. Sure looks better than the Granite axle back ant eater.
  5. Speaking of Vinny how about a U prog update.
  6. T-800 and W-900's are the only good looking KW's IMHO. I think they are both being discontiued/replaced by newer models.
  7. Looks like the son of the B-63's Meyer ran out of Wheeling back in the 60's.
  8. Does Celli truck center still sell Macks or do they just work on them.
  9. That CL is sharp with the two tanks. Looks like a Canadian setup.
  10. 220. Good points! Not to mention the spill over effect to local and not local parts suppliers and sevice providers.
  11. How many of the Celli off springs are still involved in Celli truck center. It seems as though the Celi company was much bigger than I thought. Were they bigger than Palumbo. Thats funny that the B's were on the road longer than the R-700's. I'm guessing the R 600's were on the road until the late 90's
  12. Kscarbel does know some shi? though
  13. Along with Macks and A-Cars and Hendricksons there were a ton of those R-210's thru R-230's in the midwest. Cummins powered 190 and 220's.
  14. In the era of the 673, NH 220/250, 6-71 fleet in frames were generally 200,0000-250,000 miles and out of frames 400,000- 500,000 or sold.
  15. And still buying Macks I believe. I think I have seen shakers also.
  16. Up near Brandon Vermont there are lots of Mack tractors with dump trailers hauling feldspar or something similar. Mostly CH's and a few paccars. Different companies
  17. It looks like the Celli numbering system during the B era was all over the map. How many B's were in the fleet at one time. How many R's and CH's.
  18. There was a picture of a red B model tri drive somewhere on this sight recently.
  19. Under the Celli thread there is a beautiful Celli A model dump.
  20. Maybee we can start an information cash pool. This info is to valuable to let it stop. One dollar a member would be a huge cash cow!
  21. Herb Holden and Manafort are Mack fleets. Any pictures out there.
  22. 3P'S the man. Come on 3P!
  23. I never saw any of the l's or A's just the B's and R's I must admit those A's are better looking than the L's Great shots BCR. I always remember when I was a kid most of the constuction trucks seemed to have Italian names and then when I moved to the east it was the same. Those Italians knew a good thing- Macks, A-Cars, dumps and mixers. LOL
  24. I never thought about it before but the F model and the bud cab have similarities around the window area. Maybe KS knows about the F model cab assembly.
