  1. My guess is that the photo was split across 2 pages - similar to the Superliner. Guy model’s shadow shows on the door. That’s pretty tough to do with paste, but I expect Tom could make it happen with his computer skills. 😎
  2. This might be a good one for @Firemack to chime in on as he has recently rebuilt a pump on a similar vintage B….
  3. Welcome to BMT @Paul S. Great story and introduction - especially since you included photos! Looking forward to hearing more about your experience with the truck and your restoration journey. DavCut
  4. Sounds as if it could have been much worse @mdixon! Amazing to hear that there are that many chickens on one farm Glad to read that no one working there was hurt and that your fleet didn’t receive more damage.
  5. Hope the fire isn’t causing you too much stress @mdixon. Must be one heck of a mess to clean up. Hopefully no Macks were injured.
  6. Any word on how the Stars are working out @Bullheaded?
  7. Appreciate all the effort to fight these intruders!
  8. @67RModel was right on the money in @need4steam's thread asking about the weight of a B61! Thank you for sharing @touringsedan. Sharp piece of history that you have there!
  9. Amazing to see how they used lattice boomed cable rigs to load the trucks. Hefty booms to be able to pull the loads against the boom like that! Also interesting to see the logging arches in action behind the dozers.
  10. Glad to hear that @Lozzatron. Now we need some more photos!
  11. Thank you for the update @JoeH. Glad to hear that the MR is working well. Good luck with the winter project. You could always start a post in the “odds and ends” section…. We all enjoy a good build thread. 🙂
  12. Nice find @need4steam! Do you have access to another truck that could pull your trailer with the B on it? If you are planning to use the trailer in the near future you might be money ahead making it road worthy and using it to get the truck home. Keep us posted!
  13. Got caught up in the "Tech" layoffs @tjc transport?
  14. Me again @JoeH. How's the MR treating you after 6 months? Any big projects planned for the winter?
  15. Now we are going to need a family photo @MorrisMe! Welcome to BMT. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Sisters…
  16. Welcome to BMT @mdixon ! Everyone loves photos so if you have some to post bring them on!
  17. Just have to yourself a teenager to help scan and post them @roadranger 😎
  18. Welcome to BMT @roadranger! Any photos of your previous rides?
  19. Looks as if you have a lot to work with @Lozzatron! What are your plans for the truck? Dave
  20. Amazing craftsmanship and engineering @cranemodel1015! Great documentation with your video too. Looking forward to to seeing what you put together for your Mack. Dave
  21. Welcome to BMT @Frank H! Thank you for the info on the trucks. Any stories about them you can share? Dave
  22. Thank you for sharing all of this great history @hicrop10! You may have mentioned this previously, Mike, but was there a certain project that your families company was gearing up for when these 4 trucks were purchased? Note that I may be confusing this order with a latter order of R and U models… Dave
  23. Mom and Dad had a transfer switch installed when they did a kitchen renovation. Best investment they every made! They never lost power long enough in the next 10 years to wheel the generator out to plug it in. 😂
  24. Is this the interior of the truck that you posted in this thread @1wonton?
  25. I wonder if @rjk welding ended up with the truck/what he did with it? Maybe @Tumbleweed378's post will bring RJ back seeing how he hasn't been on since 2015... Any photos of your Dad's truck @Tumbleweed378? If so start up a new thread with some. We all love photos of old Macks!
