  1. so the lame duck pardoned the turkey? hopefully there is enough dirt in the laptop to put the whole clan away forever once Trump and company take over.
  2. always liked the ford "Big Job" trucks. especially the 58 and newer with the 534. they were so much better than the 332 offered until 57
  3. so what is it? and how do we know who was at fault?
  4. i have no use for "celebrities" or politicians. if the TV is turned on, it is set to classic country music. i cant remember when the last time i watched a movie. as far as radio in the trucks or cars, i use a 64 GIG scandisc thumb drive which has approximately 7 days of continuous play of music before repeating a song.
  5. no, they live in the real world, and we live in our own little pockets of heaven under giant boulders... according to them.
  6. like almost everything else from "over there" they are being run by brain dead maroons.
  7. hey now, i am offended by that picture!! that is an insult to cow patties!!! 🤣
  8. i like pulling the injectors and giving each a good shot of ATF mixed with 40% acetone. then place the injectors back in the holes and let sit for a week or so. then pull the injectors back out and bar the engine over by the crank bolt on front of the engine. you wat at least 1 full revolution of the engine before throwing power to the starter. leaving the injectors out while baring over mean you will not have to fight engine compression. but put the injectors back in the holes when done so no moisture can get in the cylinders. pulling the injectors will also allow you to scope the cylinders and pistons with a bore camera.
  9. sure. i will load an extra jumbo roll on the W900 and flat bed trailer and send it rite down. 25 ton should last you for at least a week till you can go to the store, rite??
  10. maybe you will get lucky and just have to free the rack in the injector pump, and pour some lube in the cylinders and let it sit for a few days to free the engine up so it can roll over.
  11. First day of retirement he commented on being surprised the either general hospital or as the world burns was still on.
  12. if you ever stop watching soap operas and finish it.
  13. by those fuzzy 1920's pictures, it looks more like a Kenworth W900 than an A Car.
  14. My engine brake is always on once engine reaches 150 degrees And very rarely use the brakes. I can go from speed to 15 mph with engine brake without touching the brake pedal for a red light.
  15. with a 3.91 rear axle, you should have no problem maintaining highway speeds. the 2020 kenworth t880 with 4.10 gears will roll 80 mph if you want it to.
  16. i had right rear inner blow on a dump truck and blew the mud flap off, and also rip the right tailgate latch rod rite out of the latch assembly.
  17. 16V92 in nothing against the 16V149. you can hear one of them under load from damn near a mile away!!!
  18. so true on closer to the end of the journey than the beginning Paul. of the 8 of us growing up there are only 2 left. everyone knew if you wanted to find one of us, just look for the one of the others. the rest of us were not far away.
  19. they ran autocars back in the 60's and 70's. i started pulling out of kingston in 75. i think they switched to the DM's around 79 or 80 yellow with black fenders and lettering. the switcher may still be in the back of the quarry. it used to be out front with all the rest of the machinery, but i would imagine it was all run out back to the maintenance shop after the shut down day to day operations.
  20. i like the "little" lift block on the pickup plate of the gooseneck.
  21. pepsi here ordered 100 electric T680 tractors to replace their diesel fleet for the terminal 2 miles from our local Paccar dealer. took delivery of the first 10 and canceled the rest of the order. and within 2 months those 10 trucks were returned to Paccar and unusable. they were down more than they were running, and had less than 1/2 the range promised.
  22. about 10 years ago the Trap Rock quarry on rt29 in Lambertville NJ still had the Mack locomotive in use shuttling rail cars inside the quarry. when the quarry closed the railroad stopped maintaining the bridge over the canal, and last time i was up there 2 years ago the bridge had been removed. but i did not see if the locomotive was still inside the quarry. i just checked on google maps and do not see it or any of the stone stockpiles that used to be there. they also had a Cat D-8 locomotive in the Kingston quarry. but that has been gone for at least 20 years.
  23. no, i do not, i did mostly central and south jersey work until around 20 years ago. Whippany is around 50 miles north of me.
  24. there are at least a dozen brockways on bookface marketplace within around 100 miles from me .some in good condition too.
