im sure if you can't find one taken off to day cab a truck there probably one in a wrecking yard on a truck. the sleepers remind me a lot of a kw sleeper i have wondered how hard it might be to put a 86" kw studio sleeper on one.

that style equalizer seems to be problematic. my belly dump uses the same style. i cant tell from the pictures witch ones you put in. but i have been having a little better luck with the cast ones vrs the fabricated steel ones. if you have any crooked leaf springs it helps to straighten them out when you are doing equalizers witch most the time means new u bolts. looks like they they did a nice job on the trailer though, should serve you well.

im 19,300 bobtail with my pusher axle and wetkit on the truck. i am 36k empty with my tridem trailer on and i am lighter than most for my setup

i saw one on my way home this evening. i didn't get a picture but a 4 wheeler rolled over on a 25mph residential street. appeared to be a single vehicle accident. how its possible to roll a car over on a flat straight residential road i have no idea. was not even a suv but a normal 4 door late model car

that is a great empty weight, i know guys that have trucks that weigh that much bobtail. air ride setups are a little heavier than spring ride. air ride does improve the ride. you will notice more difference empty than loaded with a air ride trailer it will tend to bounce around less over bumps

they have one at a big coal mine near me that is absolutely massive Dragline at Falkirk Mining company south of Minot ND. the kw has me a little confused? it almost looks like its on a pickup chassis.

there certain things that get exempt status from the 1 year rule. but yeah i try to kinda clear house once a year or so ether i sell the stuff or junk it or sometimes use it as motivation to put something to use that has been sitting around. look at it if it has a thick layer of dust its time to either use it sell it or toss it.

i hate throwing away anything that i may use. every once in a while though you have to look around and see what has been sitting around for a year or more and get rid of it or it just gets to be too much. iv got two bran new ones that i bought as well for another truck that i am going to end up putting on the mack witch is part of why i was going to toss the used one till i thought of a use for it.

so i was cleaning up the shop the other day and i was about to throw out a used full fender that i have had laying around for a while then the idea hit me to cut it in half and turn it into 2 fenders for my lift axle. so this weekend that is what i did. i thought it came out pretty nice for using a bunch of spare parts laying around. only thing i bought was some muffler clamps to attach the fenders to the fender brackets and i didn't have any flat stock that fit between the ribs of the inside of the fenders so i bought a little flat stock to drill holes in to make a backer on the back side of the clamps

nice looking truck. i like my 2000 with 460 and 13 speed eaton manual. only automatic i have ever drove was a eaton 18 auto and was only for a short time. did not reall get along with it. maybe with more seat time in one a guy could learn to like it. my cx was in framed at 945k

the biggest accessory charges that should be paid are tonu and detention time. iv had these in a contract in black and white and they will still try to dodge paying it any way they can. both cost you money and should never go unpaid.

a friend of mine has a vacuum pump made from a a old refrigerator. it works quite well. my ac vacuum pump is a 1/3hp single stage pump it works just fine gets the job done just not quite as fast as some of the more expensive ones.

as far as i know you don't. last one i got i just walked into my local Napa and told them i needed a 30lb bottle of 134a. they had it on hand and sold it to me. it was a little more there but i needed asap when i bought it. you can get them on e-bay and other online sources a bit cheaper than napa. about $120 at Napa. 30 lbs will go a long ways you can do many many vehicles with 30lbs and after the first few the rest are basically free compared to the price of the do it yourself cans. i think it was r-12 that you had to have a licence for as its environmentally unsafe. but r-12 is pretty much a thing of the past anymore. i got my vacuum pump on ebay for about $50 and my manifold gauge set for about $40 after a fair bit of use i have had to replace a few of the fittings on the gauge set.
