Building a Barn

now you just need some beer and you'll have a great weekend watching the bush TV ( the fire in this wide brown land) life doesnt get much better beer and a camp fire Paul -
the lift pump is meant to allow it to siphon back when not running thats why the air is coming in the return line if you pull a lift pump apart they arent a real tight fit even when new if you fix all the tiny leaks you will fined a huge improvement for little money spent Paul

looking good Tim dont forget to put the buckle in for the baby capsule cant have the new edition fiddling with the knobs etc LOL Dump question from Paul how you gunna keep cool as a cucumber when you closed off all the vents because them R model cabs can get a tad tropical or at least thats what Ive found keep at it Tim the trailer must be all done and now you need something to drag it around with Paul -

If you had to hand pump the primer and it changed as in the effort required and then it started fine it would lead me to think that you are loosing prime when the trucks not running but I could and most likely wrong as I always say what would I know LOL Paul

ok I drew this a while ago should explain it fairly well so excuse my chicken scratch but it should be clear enough The important thing to understand is that the fuel siphons back thru the to the tank when the motor is not running which it is meant to do but and this is were most people dont understand is that the return is just as important as the supply side I had to have it explained to me in great detail before the penny dropped but it really is as simple as I have explained before and the tell tale signs to look for are does it make smoke as soon as the motor winds over if so it has fuel if there is no smoke it has no fuel because it has siphoned out and air has gone in on the return side of it if it has smoke and wont start it is a compression problem Paul

Superliner and a wee load
mrsmackpaul replied to Timothy Maikshilo's topic in Modern Mack Truck General Discussion
You make a good point there the sad reality is Volvo have us over a barrel we can complain to the cows come home its not what we want but they dont have to change we can vote with our feet and buy something else then that will be the end of the Mack brand So I guess the best we can hope for is Volvo goes ass up and sells the Mack brand to a company that cares and then we start to get what we want again No matter what Volvo think if you make what people dont want no matter how big you are people will only stay loyal for so long before they vote with their feet and then its to late so I hope for everyones sake they wake up before they loose the lot one day and dont think it cant happen it has happened to some huge corporations and countries as well Paul sorry for taking it off topic Tim bloody farmers LOL
