I have driven past here many times and have never stopped, always say I should abd will I am unsure if I can just call in or if I have to make a appointment to see it Must jump on the phone beforehand and find out one day The R 800 was a bit of everthing and appears to have been built in all shapes and sizes Paul

  10. Dunno about not many about Kerang In one street there is 3 R's one F at least 3 CH And I know of another R model anda fella I know fairly well had his series 1 Super liner at Wacol and still has his R model, it just sits now as he has aged a bit but still loves it even though he doesnt drive it A fella at Koondrook has a few R models that are used every day There's still a few around considering the age, a lot of this has to do with the climate as well Paul

  14. It's a shame they didn't make these in 58,000 I don't think the springs even bend on 58's let alone get close to riding like a Cadillac lol Paul
  15. When we sugar cane farmed in North QLD there was feral deer on the island our farm was on We would shoot around 150 a year, chittle deer Never thought of using a mallet Now my boy is grown up and is turning 21 next month I have bought him a 44 Henry as a 21st present Turning is kinda a big deal in Australia Happy times with the kids teaching them real things inlife Cherish these moments as they are over far to quickly Paul

  18. How did new sleeper you were making go Vlad I don't recall any up dates for a while, I might have missed them though Paul
  19. What I mean is pretty simple Most times there is a logical explanation for everything I would just wait and see what Pauls response I have been on this forum and another Australian forum for many years and I have noticed we can all get a bit tightly wound at times Some of your comments could be perceived as been a tad abrupt, doesn't mean you cant ask questions or question what people say I reckon all things sort themselves out given time Paul
  20. Well what ever is going on it appears that there is confusion Maybe two trucks left were ordered for the same customer and the customer couldn't take delivery Paul
  21. A lot of the NewZealandacks came RHD from the US As to which plant they cam from I do not know I wrongly assumed that RHD Macks in NZ would all of come from Australia, a lot did and a lot from the US and NZ made their own R and F model's as well Unsure about South Africa and other RHD parts of the world that ran Macks Paul
  22. I would write a letter direct to Mack them selves explaining what has happened No good phoning them, actually use a pen and paper and write it out by hand I would be very surprised if you dont get a positive outcome I would list the name of the people you spoke to at the dealer ship and their response when asking Keep it direct and to the point and factual I have had to do this once in Australia when a dealer just fobbed me off until the warranrty expired and then refused to help Once the factory was involved and telling the dealer what to do it was amazing how quick things changed and minor annoying problems were fixed Paul
  23. I reckon it will use centrifical force to separate the water etc from the fuel Fuel floats on water so as it spins the water flow over the side and the fuel will run down Just a guess Like a centrifical oil filter Just clean and reassemble, last for ever and the engine oil stays spotless Paul
  24. I sez it's kinda sad to see the end of a era I also think people should be proud of just how many years the ACCO lasted Paul
