  1. If the whole world went Euro-6 all we'd need is scr and we'd be better off.
  2. They are Shepard gears. Everything is in phase, we've always used atf in them especially when it is -30 degrees.
  3. Hoses are routed the same as factory. We did get some good slugs of air out but no help
  4. We bled the hell outta this thing. Would air in the line make it turn stiff? We even tried with the filter in.
  5. It'd all depend on how low your 1st gear is on the trans.
  6. It shouldn't be stiff, my other cl's are a 1 finger turner and this one was.
  7. Hoses are aeroqip, same results with new and old hoses.
  8. '96 CL713 has Shepard twin steering gear. One day while driving, driver lost power steering. Then a hour later it came back. It kept doing this so I took it in. They replaced bearing on steering shaft, steered fine. Next day, no power steering again. This time they replaced the pump, old one had no flow and low pressure. Now the truck steered very stiff, like your trying to run while in water....they now replaced driver side steering gear...then passenger side steering gear and another new pump! We're out of ideas and I'm running out of $! Lol. If you turn wheel to lock one way and then turn back its real hard to turn. We also replaced all hosed too and filter. And I only run ATF in them. Thanks
  9. My girlfriend actually works for Cummins and builds the onans. Their motors come out of China too.
  10. The main thing on any brand of generator is to NEVER use any ethanol.... Not even 10% and always use stabil with every fill up. I have a 10,000 watt from Max Tool and its 5 years old, original battery in it even. Still works good and gets a lot of use.
  11. I have a '95 RD we bought new. Mechanical E7 350, 8ll, air ride with a pusher and tag if you're interested. 570,000 miles, excellent maintenance program.

  13. I was told by Mack that camelback is actually lighter than air ride.
  14. Same shell design just different door panels and door stops.
  15. I had a gorgeous '89 R that had the small diameter fuel tanks. It was a high clearance option. The air tanks were higher, the crossover was higher and it was a dream to service.
  16. My trucks run gravel roads. What I did on the last new hood was use Bedliner with Kevlar. I bought it by the gallon and put on 4 coats letting them dry about 8 hours in between. Don't spray it on, use a brush to apply for thickness. My hood has not had spiders in the paint yet. Its been 5 years.
  17. Firewall fuse box had 12v going in and less than 5v coming out. Pulled it off and the back was corroded very bad. So a new box SHOULD cure this. (Fingers crossed).
  18. 6-4 is only fault code. Have 55psi fuel pressure at the block, ECU's are communicating and even tried a spare ecu. No go.
  19. I have the updated pump in it. They say it "shouldn't" go bad.
  20. I'm 4th anniversary of divorce is coming up......I like that anniversary. Lol congrats
