  1. How about the '64 Galaxie EV powered by Tesla. https://www.motortopia.com/galax-e/
  2. Just happen to see this no connection. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/160619840357744/?ref=product_details&referral_code=marketplace_general&referral_story_type=general&tracking={"qid"%3A"-3752426887139150346"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"30647287047285914"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A30647287047285914%2C\"target_type\"%3A6%2C\"primary_position\"%3A5%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A416861970902286336%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A501%2C\"value\"%3A0.00049233937775011%2C\"upsell_type\"%3A108%2C\"candidate_retrieval_source_map\"%3A{\"6353746038011741\"%3A3528%2C\"6392056190870165\"%3A3528%2C\"9552632651476752\"%3A3007%2C\"6516139258445227\"%3A3001}%2C\"grouping_info\"%3Anull}"%2C"lightning_feed_qid"%3A"-3752441249448120951"%2C"lightning_feed_ranking_signature"%3A"416861970902286336"%2C"ftmd_400706"%3A"111112l"}
  3. I have the heel type clamps marked "Mack". As far as the spacer there is plenty of space between the tires and no load. It is a hobby truck. I never noticed the difference in width until both spacers were laying side by side and then saw the size marked on along with the brand Firestone. I had noticed a little more thread sticking past the lug nut on the one side but it still tightens down without the spacer heel touching the spoke. Hoping for lot of ride improvement with the radials.
  4. They do that just to show who is boss. How is the ride without the body?
  5. This is a timely subject as I am almost finished changing from 10.00x20 tube type to 11r22.5 tubeless. I noticed the spacers on the duals are a different width, one is 4" and the other 3 5/8". Anybody got a 20" x 4" pie crust type for sale? On the side with the 3 5/8" one there is more stud coming through. The wedges didn't bottom out but almost. Both sets of drives run nice and true at about 200 ft lbs torque.
  6. Don't forget the "rubber" machine in the men's room.
  7. I had the same problem with Amazon a few years ago. I even tried calling on the phone and got nowhere. So I just look elsewhere and usually come up with as good or better deal. The other thing is I feel the same way about Bezo/Bozo.

Here is a short utube from 1943 that show swapping EV taxi battery packs for recharging. I don't know how to post the actual video but here is a link: Back to the future: Electric taxi in 1943 - YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1P3gF_nC_k
  9. Looks like a great place to escape after a tough day of whatever.
  10. These tires were new in 2000 and have been 8500 miles starting in 2017. No sign of dry rot or damage. I'm in the process of switching to 11r 22.5 tubeless. $1200. or OBO. Located in VA. (the other steer is still on the truck)
  11. Nothin' wrong with old school. Keep on keepin' on.
  12. Thanks for the great pictures. Now I don't feel so bad about not making it.
  13. Thanks for the on scene reporting and pictures. Wish I could have made it.
  14. Thanks for the info. I've got a can on it's way.
  15. Beautiful! What did you use on the exhaust manifold?

  17. Looks good. I like the way the pipes are tucked in. I'll be curious to watch the air cleaner conversion. I just cleaned and serviced my oil bath, what a PITA. Nice find on the keys.

It would also make a nice one for topping off swimming pools.
  19. Damn! If you look hard enough you can see the air (lol).
  20. I took mine off a couple of months ago. I used an engine hoist with a strap to hold the fender in place while removing the bolts. Then raised it above the tire and moved it aside. You can pick the fender (with inner fender) up and move it around but it is awkward when trying to unbolt and hold in place.
  21. l lucked out and found a set of six rims on FB marketplace for $45 each. I had to drive 150 miles but beats the shipping cost. Too bad they didn't have decent tires on them but then I'm pretty sure they were trailer rims.
  22. I stopped in the local Service Tire Truck Center (multiple locations VA to NY) for a quote on 11r22.5s. They priced six Kelly 146k Armoursteel all positions @$356 each and install on bare wheel @ $25 each. Also gave a quote on Coopers four Work Series RHD H 1 drives @ $482 each and two Work Series RHA H 1 steers @ $468. No price reductions in sight.
