  1. That is one beautiful truck. My dad had an Astro in the 70's, I prefered the Macks but I did like the tilt wheel and panoramic view from the driver's seat in the Astro.
  2. Very sharp looking truck!
  3. I can't open the attachment...anyone else able to?
  4. This truck is really turning out nice. Good work!
  5. Is this an EHU? Cab looks pretty bad. Sorry I couldn't get a photo, my computer wouldn't let me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1940-MACK-C-O-E-/141004129935?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid=111000&algo=REC.CURRENT&ao=1&asc=27&meid=8628646231957107572&pid=100033&prg=1011&rk=3&sd=221245268774&&forcev4exp=true
  6. If these have maxi brakes, be very careful!! If you aren't familiar with spring brakes get some good advice before taking them apart.
  7. Found this on CL...looks nice, but don't know anything about it. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/3826696496.html
  8. On the video it sounds like he waited until he passed the girls to slam his hand in the door.
  9. Man, those are some odd-looking cabs.
  10. bbigrig, what is the thumping noise you say you miss on that MH picture in your galley?
  11. Actually I thought the dogs were watching the other trucks as you passed them by.
  12. Nice! Just enough chrome/polished to look classy.
  13. Wheels look fantastic, like those 2 piece rims! Did you paint the rims with the tires on or off? I'd like to paint my rims with the tires off but the paint gets destroyed pounding the lock ring back on.
  14. Sad to see that happen!
  15. Amen to that...very high pressure in these lines. Need to use material that's made for injection pressure.
  16. The original Gilley's closed down, then had a fire, then was demolished to build a school. They opened a new Gilley's elsewhere with some of the original memorabilia.
  17. New photos are great! I see you pulled it with a tractor--how far did you have to drag it home?
  18. I thought maybe it had a maple leaf on it.
  19. You ain't kiddin about drivers these days...last year a tow truck driver here in Columbus, Ohio was killed when a drunk driver rammed the car he was hooking up to. That's the second tow driver I can remember here in recent years.
  20. The Organ Mountains! Saw that view every day in 1980 working at the Shell station on Route 70. Nice pictures.
  21. Get My Chain. (for pulling out Fords and Dodges)
