  1. Zina said hey!
  2. That reminds me of a T shirt I saw years ago- it said on the front "instant asshole-just add alcohol". And I knew people like that, no matter what they drank, when they got drunk they just wanted to fight. I was more the "I'm friends with everybody" type when I was drinking. 😁
  3. It's good stuff!
  4. Sorry, but you must have me confused with somebody else!
  5. That's exactly how I was, I used to look forward to leaving on Sunday and going up the road to somewhere, then as time went on I dreaded leaving the house. Same with getting a new truck, it was a big deal to get a new truck at first, like these KWs- each new one was a little better than the last one. But as time went on you'd get a new one because the old one was traded in or something, and the new one was not necessarily any better, and a lot of times it was worse than your old one. And people were saying how much they disliked moving, I got to where I hated switching trucks. Ater driving the same truck for a couple of years it's amazing how much stuff you accumulate! And of course besides the clothes and personal items, there was all the equipment- tools, tarps, chains, straps, corner protectors, binders, etc.
  6. Thank you. That was a nice truck, top of the line everything. Outstanding for a company truck. I got that truck new after getting this '83 model new the year before. It was similar to the '84 except it had a 350 Cummins in it and the '84 had a 400. That was big power back then. H.H. Moore had just started getting KW's afters years of having mostly Internationals and some Macks. The next year I got this '85 model, same specs. as the '84 except it had an engine brake. And that was the last cabover I ever drove, he started getting T800 KWs after that.
  7. Hardly pictures of the week any more, I don't take anywhere near the number of pictures that I used to but I've used that title for years, so why change now, eh? That's Canadian, I try to use it periodically so I don't forget how. Anyhow, here's a couple I got a week or so ago. On second thought, never mind. I got these on my phone, but I'm going to send them to myself, then I can get them off the computer, then I can resize them. The first one is 2.6 MB, another is 4.4 MB. I don't know exactly what that means, but I know it means the picture is really big. MB is big, really big. I want to get to KB. KB is not too big- Be back in a few. So, on the way back from Bedford we stopped at the store in Huddleston. We were going to try some of that catfish they had, but it was $12 so we left it there. But we saw this nice looking pickup in the parking lot. Then when we got to Altavista we spotted this nice looking Ford in a parking lot, so we turned around to get a picture. I hate crooked pictures, I mean if you're too lazy to hold the camera straight, just don't bother, right? Like this one at the Piggly Wiggly in Winfall for example- I found this picture the other day and I thought maybe I would do one of those "10 years ago" pictures everybody is doing now. I think this was taken around 10 years ago. I was standing by the almost new 1984 Kenworth I was driving just before I left the yard at H.H. Moore's one Sunday afternoon. Might strike the same pose in similar clothes beside a cabover truck, if I can find one. Should be some at the Winchester show that's coming up soon. And here's one from the interweb that i'm posting, just because it's almost fall, it'll be getting cold soon, and it looks warm where ever this picture was taken. That, and everybody loves boobage.
  8. Hmmm, maybe I've become a raging alcoholic since I retired...nah! I have half of those examples on the shelf though- the Skrewball, Absolut, and apple Crown. I switched from Crown Royal to Jim Beam though, because while the Jim Beam is not quite- OK, not nearly- as smooth as Crown Royal, it is much cheaper. That Jim Beam Red Stag is delicious mixed with Dr. Pepper or Diet Coke. It's black cherry flavored.
  9. Zina from Gladys had this picture on her phone. I was walking around and heard one of those locusts chirping. I could tell it was close, but I turned all the way around and never did see it. Funny thing, mower man had just mentioned the locusts, he said they were out one year when he was there before, and Freightrain had told him what they were. This one must have gotten off schedule somewhere along the line. There's a few of them around here this year, but not the hundreds, or maybe thousands that come out at their regularly scheduled appearances.
  10. I didn't get a picture of the door, but this is a replica of the "Moving On" TV show truck.
  11. Even Tom Brady was there.
  12. He saved the 'Vette from getting smashed too.
  13. President Trump was there too. I didn't know he knew Bob.
  14. You're welcome, first time i've been there too.
  15. Some random woman who was passing by and wanted to get in the picture-
  16. I didn't have much to do today.
  17. yes...
  18. Oh, I found another picture, must have missed it somehow.
  19. Here's all of the pictures from the truck show Saturday.
  20. what a cu- I mean bit- I mean- never mind, we all know the deal...
  21. More units- This guy might have come from a land down under, I don't know, but I had to put some pants on him. His shorts came right to the top of the water bottle he's holding.😆 We were thinking about getting a drone. A friend of mine has one and he takes some great pictures with it. I asked him yesterday if he would give me flight lessons if I got one, and he said he would. I googled the brand he reccomended getting, and I had no idea a drone was that expensive- around $500 for a good beginner drone, so I don't know about the drone idea.
  22. oh yeah, that reminds me- I put my morning eye drops in, but haven't taken my blood pressure, gout, and cholesterol pills yet.
  23. There were some fine looking rides there too.
