Happy birthday!

I used to use StaBil- well, actually I still do, but I read that Sea Foam also keeps gas from "going bad" so I put that in in too. I fill two cans a year with ethanol free gas, one for the lawn mower, a push mower, and one that I mix for my 2 cycle engines- chain saw, leaf blower, and weed eater. I put both Sta Bil and Sea Foam in both of them. I used to put a can of Sea Foam in that 4 cylinder Ranger I used to have periodically and you could definitely tell the difference.

That looks just like the one I had, the clear coat was even coming off the hood. It was a 4 cylinder too. It was a good little car, I paid $800 for it. Then when my wife got sick and was diagnosed with cancer I got her a newer car and gave the Celebrity to my son. He ran it hot and thought the engine was ruined so he parked it and got something else. Then my brother in law got it and put a head gasket on it, I don't know if he had to put a new head on it or not, but I don't think he did. Anyhow, he fixed it, then painted it, and his daughter drove it after that. Pretty well spent 800 bucks.

I had a 72 Nova when I was a teenager, pretty good little hotrod, it had a warmed up 350 in it and a 4 speed. It came with a 3 speed, but I put the 4 speed in it. I used to tear either the clutch or the rear end out on a regular basis. I ended up putting a stronger rear in it, but whenever I put a clutch in it I'd go to the parts store and get another rebuilt clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. I think all that only cost about $50 at the time. Anyway, I put so many clutches in it I could do it by myself, laying in the driveway, in a few hours. One time I was putting a clutch in it at the local pool hall we used to hang out at, and another guy was going to give me a hand. We were both under the car trying to get the splines lined up when I told him "let's take a break for a minute". When I said "break" that's all he needed to hear, he didn't help set the transmission down, he just let go of it. I still have the scar on my forehead where it hit me.

Thank you Vlad! And Zina says Hi!

Somebody will post this on Facebook from time to time, and you wouldn't believe how people will argue that it's real, it's what they learned to drive on, and all kinds of crazy stuff.

I used to talk to Old Bill from Canada on Skype every weekend. Haven't been on it for a long time now. Last 2 times I tried to call Old Bill I got no response, so I don't know if he's still with us or not. I called randyp from Texas a few times too with no response either.

Last time I saw him was in Macungie, might have been the same year. He was holding one end of the bigmacktrucks sign in the group photo, I'm sure that's posted here somewhere. -
Yes, people vote for "what is good for ME, right NOW" and not what is best for the country. They vote for whoever is promising them the most free stuff at the moment, never thinking of the consequences of "free stuff", that's not really free at all. "I wants my free $#!t!"

I've never tried it.

It is!

And don't forget Pennsylvania.

I said it when Donald Trump was president, and i'll say it now- it would not matter what he did, he could cure cancer, he could bring about world peace, and the liberals would still find fault in it. No matter what he did. And unlike now- totally unlike now- everything he did was for the good of this country, yet people still bad mouth everything he ever did.

yep, i'm in the same boat.

When I was driving for H.H. Moore his son Larry took over after H.H. passed away. I took a load to somewhere in Ohio, I think it was, and Larry told me to kind of look after this new guy that was going to the same place. He said his name was "David number five". I said "David no. 5?..What kind of name is that?" He said "well, i've already got 4 Davids working here, so I just call him David no. 5". I looked after him, we ended up coming back empty, so we went right across Hawk's Nest. Old David no. 5 did all right though.

Great guy. The first time I met him in person was when I was at the nucular pire plant at Jensen Beach, he brought me a cup of coffee. I don't remember what year it was. Then one weekend in January, 2019 when I was in sunny Florida me and Zina drove over to see him one fine Saturday. We met him at a nice seafood place and had lunch with him. I told him when we came back I was going to get the grouper sandwich like he had ordered, but he passed away before we made it back.

But we had been driving all day, picked up Vicki in Deltona, then drove up to Leesburg.
-
I told Zina from Gladys that that looked like your truck!

Hmmmmm...I cropped the people out of this picture and just left the fantastic seafood and it failed to post 4 times. Tried to post it in this reply, and it still "failed to post, unknown error''. But when I tried the whole picture, it posted with no problem. So that's the lovely Vicki from Florida with the beautiful Zina from Gladys, and me holding a mug of beer. And the fantastic seafood- Vicki had the fish tacos, I had the fish and chips at the top right, there's some sweet potato fries there, and I don't remember what Zina from Gladys had, clam strips I believe.

Here's the rest of the pictures that I took in Leesburg, which isn't many. But like I said, I just wasn't going to pay $60 for 3 of us to get in when we didn't get there until 3pm on the last day and a lot of trucks had already gone or were loading up to leave. Here's a girl in a truck. This is a fine looking cannon ball. Here's a fine looking boat in the water over in Sanford, where we had some most excellent seafood. That fish I got was the cat's ass!

I know i've told the story before, but I one night I needed a headlight for the 2006 Peterbilt I was driving. I had just gotten loaded at Kyanite Mining Corporation in Dillwyn, Va. I was already a bit cranky because it was late, already dark, I had just gotten loaded, and I was supposed to have that load relocated to someplace else in the morning. I stopped at Advance Auto Parts and told them I needed a low beam headlight, and told them it was for a four headlight system, rectangular sealed beams, even told them the number on the headlight, I think it's a 2A1? Mybe a IAI..anyway, they're all the same, whether it's for a Peterbilt or a Buick. And the first thing the guy wanted to know was "what's the VIN?" I just said "I'm building a spaceship in the back yard out of 2x4's and I want to put headlights on it.'' Then I just started walking out the door and a girl that worked there put a headlight on the counter and said "is this what you need?" I said ''yes!" So I paid for it and when I was leaving she said ''good luck with your spaceship''.
