  1. It's almost time for the 2022 ATCA Show in Macungie, Pa. "The greatest antique truck show on earth"- (Doug Maney, 1987) Just wondering who was going, if anyone. Me and Zina from Gladys are planning to go. Unfortunately, Vicki from Florida doesn't think she'll make it this year.
  2. Oh that's way past my bedtime!

    Melissa

Melons are good. Everybody likes melons. Here are 2 very nice ones-
  4. Well, if I was married to that old- well, she can't understand normal thinking, I'd probably drink too 🤣
  5. That's already happened, I might not drive any more but I watch the truck prices, periodically anyway. They're just like pickup prices, people will drag some worn out pile out of the weeds that hasn't been started in 10 years and expect to get $50,000 for it. It's crazy!
  6. Happy birthday!
  7. Here's someone's personal assistant looking for lost dentures in the back of a car.
  8. Did you ever see the movie "Fury"? It's one of my favorites, Brad Pitt plays a tank commander in WW II in it.
  9. I watch a lot of old westerns, Wanted-Dead or Alive, Have Gun Will Travel, and Rawhide are on in the mornings, then in the afternoon Wagon Train, Death Valley Days, Wyatt Earp, and my favorite- Tales of Wells Fargo- are on.
  10. Here's another girl on another boat since I posted the other one before.
  11. Yeah, I gotta go with dentures. One of Zina's co-workers was getting implants, it was like $20,000.
  12. I met him at Macungie last year. He's still pretty active on Facebook.
  13. Yep, you can't stress that enough. I'm going to have 3 teeth pulled tomorrow. I have none on the bottom on the passenger side now, and after tomorrow I won't have any on the bottom on the driver's side. Then I have to have the small ones in front pulled, then a couple more on the top on both sides, then I get dentures. It will be about six weeks after they're all pulled until my gums are healed enough for the dentures, so I'll probably be eating a lot of camel's🐪 soup for a while. I could get a temporary plate in the meantime, but my dentist said that would cost me about $1,000 and it would go in the trash, so I'll just make do with what I got. He said it was actually better to let them fully heal before I got the dentures anyway.
  14. This is "Odds and Ends". For other than truck related topics. You should probably just avoid "Odds and Ends".
  15. How about a motor boating picture?..oh, never mind, I think I posted this before.
  16. How about Farrah Fawcett on a bicycle?
  17. here's John Deere mower-
  18. Hmmm...no half nekkid wimmens, but here's a dog and a Freightliner.
  19. Oh, here's another one I saw.
  20. I have to post two pictures of the same truck so it can be Pictures instead of Picture of the Week. This was parked somewhere in Georgia.
  21. Best you stay on her good side then!
  22. Happy birthday!
  23. I used to use StaBil- well, actually I still do, but I read that Sea Foam also keeps gas from "going bad" so I put that in in too. I fill two cans a year with ethanol free gas, one for the lawn mower, a push mower, and one that I mix for my 2 cycle engines- chain saw, leaf blower, and weed eater. I put both Sta Bil and Sea Foam in both of them. I used to put a can of Sea Foam in that 4 cylinder Ranger I used to have periodically and you could definitely tell the difference.
  24. That looks just like the one I had, the clear coat was even coming off the hood. It was a 4 cylinder too. It was a good little car, I paid $800 for it. Then when my wife got sick and was diagnosed with cancer I got her a newer car and gave the Celebrity to my son. He ran it hot and thought the engine was ruined so he parked it and got something else. Then my brother in law got it and put a head gasket on it, I don't know if he had to put a new head on it or not, but I don't think he did. Anyhow, he fixed it, then painted it, and his daughter drove it after that. Pretty well spent 800 bucks.
  25. I had a 72 Nova when I was a teenager, pretty good little hotrod, it had a warmed up 350 in it and a 4 speed. It came with a 3 speed, but I put the 4 speed in it. I used to tear either the clutch or the rear end out on a regular basis. I ended up putting a stronger rear in it, but whenever I put a clutch in it I'd go to the parts store and get another rebuilt clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. I think all that only cost about $50 at the time. Anyway, I put so many clutches in it I could do it by myself, laying in the driveway, in a few hours. One time I was putting a clutch in it at the local pool hall we used to hang out at, and another guy was going to give me a hand. We were both under the car trying to get the splines lined up when I told him "let's take a break for a minute". When I said "break" that's all he needed to hear, he didn't help set the transmission down, he just let go of it. I still have the scar on my forehead where it hit me.
