  1. Here's a couple of pictures that I posted previously, one is a set of XPO Logistics doubles and the other is where I thought I saw a groundhog on the shoulder...but maybe I didn't.
  2. Zina said "hi Vlad!"
  3. We're coming Wednesday because we're picking Vicki from Florida up at the Allentown Airport at 10 pm. She goes back at 6am Sunday morning, so we'll be there all that time. Maybe we can meet up for dinner or something.
  4. OK Vlad, I'll tell her. It'll be nice when you can come to Macungie again.
  5. So I could have gotten a show pass for $50 because I'm an ATHS member, even though I wasn't showing a truck? Would that have included Zina from Gladys? If it didn't the $15 a day for 3 days was cheaper.
  6. Yep, same here. I have a Samsung phone now and I can't complain about the smart phone, because if I hadn't gotten it I probably wouldn't have re-connected with Zina from Gladys, formerly known as Zina from Florida, and originally known as Zina from Connecticut. But, with all that being said, the best phone I ever had was my old Motorola flip phone. As for the tall gear shifts- I don't get it either. I've seen guys where I used to work get a brand new W-9 and put those 5 foot gear shifts in them first thing, before they ever hit the road. Grown ass men too, it just makes no sense to me.
  7. This was the first time I've had to pay to go to a truck show. Usually they will just ask for a donation, and I usually give $20. At Winchester it's for the local food bank, but it's not a mandatory thing. At Harrisonburg we paid $90 for both of us for 3 days. Not unreasonable for what you get I don't guess, which is getting to see all those trucks, but it was totally unexpected.
  8. Wow, i'm glad you're both OK. I couldn't see the pictures on my phone, but I can on the computer.
  9. You're welcome. Here's some of the dignitaries I saw, Freightrain, Underdog, maint1, Brocky. That's Zina from Gladys, formerly known as Zina from Florida, in the picture with Brocky when she ran into him at the Cracker Barrel.
  10. Yes, I posted a picture of whatever it said on there. Nice souvenirs though, I guess. I had the one picture of a chock that was propped in front of the tire and it looked like it had pushed into the tire an inch or more. They were just a little piece of 4x4, I'm sure they were mainly for show instead of actually being capable of stopping a truck from rolling off.
  11. Yes! They had a lot of golf carts there too, they were everywhere! You could rent a golf cart, but even Tony Youngblood was complaining about how expensive they were- he said they were $150 a day, but I heard others say they were $100, which is still pretty steep. I guess if you split it 2 or 3 or 4 ways it's not bad though.
  12. Yep, we're planning on being in Macungie too. I might wear my BMT T shirt, and a floppy hat. Zina's sister, Vicki from Florida, is coming too.
  13. Well, Zina from Gladys, formerly known as Zina from Florida, asked me if I had snuck in any pictures of wimmens. I said "of course not (😁), but if one just happened to be in the picture I didn't crop them out either". So I'm always looking to find the "wimmens beside a truck" picture. Old habits die hard they say.
  14. I wore a baseball cap the first day, then I switched to my "Gregg Hoffman hat" (Underdog) but I still ended up with a sunburn on my neck. I might have to bring my Florida hat to Macungie, that's a little bigger and even more floppy. I think I need a Sombrero.
  15. I made it to the ATHS National Show and Convention for the first time ever. It was in Harrisonburg, about 2 hrs. from here. I saw a lot of trucks I had never seen before, and some BMT members too. All the pictures are here, just click on the picture- Here are some of the many Macks- This is one of the best looking i've seen- this one too-
  16. Hmmm...makes you wonder.
  17. oh- here's a girl in a car re-run. this one was on I-79 in Pa, between I-80 and the turnpike.
  18. A couple more from the wildlife drive. I was going to make Vicki a squirrel picnic table, but it looked like crap, so I ordered one from Amazon for her!
  19. I don't have many pictures on my phone, but here's a PSA and it features a girl in a car.
  20. I'm all for that! I still miss that 2 ton International truck that we almost bought. If that guy had ever come up with a bill of sale from Maine we would have.
  21. I wanted to get a pickup when I bought my Impala, but the price of pickups is just crazy now! I've had the car a couple of years now, but it's a 2016 Impala, clean as a pin, had less than 50,000 miles I think, and I wouldn't be afraid to get in it right now and take off for anywhere. I've never had any problem with it. I paid $12,000 for it, and like I told Munchie that kind of money would get me something like a 1983 F150 with 300,000 miles on it.🤣
  22. Oh, I'd never seen a one before, but every day last week was a 20 a day-day.
  23. Welp, I haven't been posting many pictures lately, so here's a few from our trip to Florida last week- and this squirrel that was here, just because it's a good squirrel picture. I saw these things all over the place at the lovely Vicki from Florida's place, where we stayed. They look like grasshoppers, but i've never seen them this color before. And I saw a small reptile on her fence- well, many of them too actually, lizards are everywhere. And we went to one of my favorite places, the Lake Apopka North Shore Wildlife Drive, where we saw many large reptiles. If you go to Florida it's a good place to check out, you just drive a round the north shore of the lake, it's 11 miles, the speed limit is 10 mph I think, it's a dirt road but no problem in a car, and you will see tons of birds, turtles, alligators, snakes, (well, i've never seen a snake but i'm sure they're there!), and we've seen pictures of the bobcats that people see, but we've never seen it. It's better than going to any of those "tourist trap" alligator places, and maybe the best part-it's absolutely free. We saw this osprey there on a pole eating a fish. Vicki took us over to a place called Green Springs. I guess it's called Green Springs because the water is green. That's where we saw this owl. Here's a big Mack truck- ...and since I didn't actually get to see any girls in any cars, here's a re-run from way back when I drove that silver Peterbilt, taken when we were stopped in traffic on I-85 north of Charlotte, N.C.
