  1. On one of mine I paid 2100. to my door and 2000 to have Tulsa auto spring install in a dump truck.I think that was ok.This was the one from stengle bros which is a drop in.The mack dealer here sells some ,like it also.
  2. pull the plate off of the side of the pump housing as you turn engine over watch what happens.
  3. A good snapon air hammer is a good tool for pitman arms.I have used them for years.

  6. I install a Blixton moduel on the truck I drive and being it was a 350 HP it added some power.For 400.00 its worth it.I don't think it would help that much on a 400

  10. I started to work for the mack dealer one year before these trucks went out of production.
  11. For many years we used the primer pump and removed the delivery valve spring.Most of us that worked on mack had a extra primer pump to use with those that did not have one.I have not used the electric pump to upseat the valve but I read in a mack manual one time that it was a 400 psi pump.I have used the air to time but to me its much easy to use the primer pump but ant saying its better.I never liked advancing the timing more that 2 degrees.

  13. I installed a jake brake on a CH VMAC 2and found it was wired from factory for jakes.I install a relay and one switch in the dash

  15. Th dealer at Tulsa told me about one month ago he found two some were in stock rebuilt from mack.2000.00

  17. Budds will crack more often when heavy in soft dirt but more trouble to change brakes shoes.

I have a B61 that I put a later engine in.I used a T600 air/air cooler and turned it upside down and mounted on the bumper and ducted the pipes thru the front fender panels.We used this for years as a hunting wagon going to the mountains with.Before I mounted the cooler it had a cooler just like you have and in the mountians pulling a 18 ft box trailer the pryo would heat much.So after I mounted the air/air I turn more fuel to it and it no more heat as before on the pyrometer.
