  1. Then what is that in the top bunk?
  2. Sorry you had to part with your tractor, especially under those circumstances. We'll pray for you and your Mom.
  3. That's certainly not enough of a penalty to convince that kid that what he did was wrong and prevent him from doing it again. Your reaction however, was not only appropriate but well worth the price, IMO.
  4. I really enjoyed the room in the flat floor IH cabover I drove for the Great Pumpkin, but I would've love to have an interior like the Scania COE pictured above. I remember seeing several of the conventionals running around the northeast in the 80's.
  5. You might enjoy it more if you don't know what they are saying.
  6. Looks pretty cool if anyone's interested http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mack-Fire-Trucks-Sales-Brochure-FDNY-/190803303659?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c6cc35ceb
  7. “We have tens of thousands of trucks coming through every day,” Lagiovane said in a phone interview with Land Line earlier this week. “We straddle Interstate 81. It’s not just a few dozen trucks a day, it’s thousands of trucks per day. Over the last year or so, we’ve had one or two incidents of truck accidents. We don’t have any certified inspectors on our police force. We want to send two police officers to inspection school.” "Tens of thousands of trucks per day" and "Over the last year or so, we’ve had one or two incidents of truck accidents." Gadzooks! What took you so long to implement this program? Those Billy Big Riggers are out of control! Gift Horse is right. They have an accident rate that is unmeasurable and they're concerned about safety. Jackoffs. It's good to see the folks of Mercersburg can spot a bad idea when they see one.
  8. I'd probably have to pick Convoy as my favorite with the first Smokey and the Bandit as second. I like them all simply because of the "cast" and some of the actors are pretty good too. I think I've seen them all except for Highballin'.
  9. Those wheels scream U-Haul. Nice little truck, but I'm not crazy about the paint scheme ........
  10. That comment has earned him 58 likes so far. Tough crowd!
  11. Randyp wouldn't need no hoist. He'd just throw the ole' hog over his shoulder and use his free hand to pop a cap in that buzzard on his way back to the house, I ga-ron-tee.
  12. I figgered someone would beat me to that conclusion. He's either very disciplined or very gay.
  13. Well put, Ben. You are an exception rather than the rule. I would describe my girls a being somewhere in between you and the kids described in the original post. I've learned that the threat of me telling them stories of how it was in the old days is the best way to keep them in line and teach them to appreciate the luxuries they have.
  14. Very nice. It obvious that it's been well cared for.
  15. There's one for sale on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1979-Hendrickson-semi-tractor-/221192252766?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item338015ed5e
  16. That 25' coiled cord would become a 50' tightrope when stretched from the kitchen, across the living room, to an upstairs bedroom. Prolly just hearsay since you don't actually know anyone that would stoop so low. My first experience with a party line was in the 1980's when i would call my Dad in Idaho. His neighbors would actually join the conversation!
  17. The following message has been on HTP for as long as Facebook has been in existence: You may download any image for personal or non-commercial use only. YOU MAY NOT DOWNLOAD ANY PICTURE FROM THIS WEB SITE TO BE USED ON YOUTUBE OR FACEBOOK. Again, I don't know what the big deal is since the pictures are watermarked with the owners name. Maybe they're trying to create an internet truck picture monopoly, who knows. I too have lost interest in that site as a result of the e-mails that were sent to Barry and besides, there are many other fan-friendlier options on the net these days. That aside, altering the photographer's name as the poster above did is just plain wrong and I feel Hank should be questioning it. I like that he chose to discuss the issue in public and kept it simple. He seems to have a bit more class than the folks that pm'ed BMT. Maybe if they had let him do the talking some of this bitterness between the sites could've been avoided.
  18. And the blue Granite and the red/black B-81.
  19. Excellent. Best of luck on Monday.
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. I'm sure there are also some things that happened as a result of that pic that you don't want to know about (here comes that whistling guy again) ....... Hank and the photographer have a legitimate argument here. This is far worse than what was taking place on BMT but it seems that it's being handled in a more civil manner.
  22. I'm outta likes but I love the DM with the hood scoop and the green B from Macungie.
