  1. I cannot remember their names right now, But there are two collectors that live close together in Cimarron NM. We visited their facility when we were on our way to the Colorado Springs show in about 2013??. One had a yellow L model Mack twin screw flatbed. The other had a brother that lived in the Denver area that collected Fords.. 1953 F800 with the Lincoln 317 in it.. Funny how you can remember trucks but not names???? Get out your Colorado Springs Show Time book and the Yellow Mack should be in it..

  6. I remember hearing about the Marmon Nuke haulers.. Done up like an armored car with unmarked escorts... If you look at the picture above of the white one you will see the armored car windows..

  9. I was 6'2" and 180 when I graduated from high school and then grew to 6'4" and 180, and stayed the same until about 30 then truck driving caught up with me and grew to 250... after retirement have got back to 230-240, but at 78 y/o still have 50 lb of beer hanging over my belt!!!!!

  15. Jim Tomer "claimes????" he does not like Macks, But part of it may be put on?????? He has a lot of interesting tales about trucking to the Prudhoe Bay Alaskan oil fields in the winter!!!

  18. I have got DSL on my house phone line.. Has been good except when the electrical power goes out.. Our Dish Satellite TV goes off for every time there is a hard thunderstorm in the area !!

  20. Thanks for that Brock Oil tractor.. I saw it a couple of years ago, but did not find anybody to talk to, am wondering if they are any relation???? The late Richard Brock, the red Federal from Florida, and I talked at a show and if we were relation it was many many generations ago..
  21. Vlad, I am NOT going to argue with you as we cannot see enough of the front .. The majority of the Quebec trucks I have seen of that chassis size/useage have a twin steer configuration???
