  2. am looking for the mount (base, pedestal) for the bulldog off the front of an F-model to put on the front of a G-model. or maybe an i.d. number off of an F-model to see if any of the warehouses might have one tucked away on a shelf somewhere. maybe barry has something laying around? thanks j.j.

  4. a buddy of mine used to haul swinging beef from the midwest back here to the east in the early 70's. if i remember right he said he had a v-8 AC in a cabover freight-shaker. i remember meeting him in a truckstop down on NY. 17 one night and when we both left he left that ol' R-700 with a 318 "jimmy" in the dust. i see him from time to time and i'll ask him how big that AC was.
  5. tim. look down by the distributor(in that area.....been a long time) you'll see the numbers on a boss on the block. you'll see the numbers and then 248 or 270 or 302. that will be the engine cubic inch. we used to put 302's in the muster trucks and they took a lot of beating. j.j.

  11. go for it rick. there's probably a lot of work down your way. i live up in the berkshires and there seems to be a lot up here especially with all this good weather.(about to change) by the way i hauled all the steel into your town for the water treatment plant they put up a few years ago. gave the steel a good ride. back then i had a MH-613 with a E-9/500. good luck if you decide to try it. j.j.
