1962 B61 At Auction

Saw on Hibid. Not mine. Looks like its in Canada. Not sure how big of a PITA it is to get something like this across the border.

be nice to have more specs on it .see two sticks . says 278 engine ; metric  numbers ? figured silver/gray interior a repaint = matches steering wheel - Canadian colors ? pretty paint with "sold as is " ?? still nice looking unit ;; thanks

That's a single axle with a tag. Six spoke on the drive and 5 on the tag.  That was on here advertised a while ago. Looks kinda nice in the pictures , enough to make a guy curious

I think we have seen photos of them recently on Australian trucks… and yes they are sharp

I painted a 62 impala that same color years ago some how I don’t think it looks right on that thing … but yes I would like to have it

It sure liooks a beautiful truck in the pics.I wonder what it'll make at auction.Yeah the chrome Daytons are real nice....

I saw a B-model at Macungie show fitted with similar chrome Daytons. Looked sharp from a distance but up close they were a big trouble with rust pitting all the way around each rim in the cavit area. The stampings contained "Made in China" letters. Big shame to spend some $$$, fit the wheels on a nice truck with new tyres and get such the "surprize" in a few years.
