Top leaf spring help

Any of you guys know a place I can get the very top leaf spring from for my rd688s rear

 

i had to cut the stud that holds the spring pack together with my plasma and I guess it got it to hot or to close and boom 

hair line crack 

 

Mack don’t sell just the 1 only the pack at 1000.00 

it’s the little 1 under the u bolt plate 

 

if you know of anywhere or anyone I’d appreciate it 

hate to spend a 1000.00

No I thought of that 

even saw it done on YouTube

Did you have the center bolts out ?  If you did and had the springs apart and are using them, probably wouldn't hurt to take a flap disc and polish off the edges so the springs slide on one another. If they dig in, they'll break. Then you'll be taking it all apart again.

I have a pair of fairly new camel back springs there are some different length and thickness variations for the most common and also a part number stamped into the end of the T on the main leaf if you can find it I will get a picture and post tommorow
