It’s that time of year again!  Hoping to make the trip to Macungie on Saturday.

I see from post in Matt’s B-73 thread that he, and a few others are on the road - or may have arrived already. 😎

So, who all is making the trip?  Is the BMT photo gathering on for noon on Saturday at the Watt’s tent?

I never did see Matt. I looked for him all day Friday as far as the photo goes I don’t know. I think the rain just drove everybody out. It certainly screwed up a lot of stuff. I was going to be watching for you, Dave for one. And 67 R model I don’t know his name. I figured both of you guys would be there, but I did probably talk to a handful that did show up. Oh well it rains a lot here in the East Coast. It happens that’s why it’s gorgeous and green everywhere. Maybe see you next year Dave… bob

Sorry to hear in other posts that the rain washed many folks out on Saturday. I enjoyed walking around and seeing all the trucks that still made it out. I think I heard that they had over 800 trucks despite the weather.
I did get a chance to see Rich (@66dc75) at the Watt’s tent to chat for a few minutes earlier in the morning and said hello and thank you to our host, Barry, from Watt’s at noon.
Matt’s (  @mattb73lt) truck looked great in person and I was able to catch up with @Firemack for a few minutes too.  He mentioned that he had seen @farmer52
The water was flowing 2” deep through the Watt’s tent at noon. Hoping for better weather for the photo next year.
Safe travels home to those still traveling. See you all next year!

So many things to see and so many people to talk to, really wanted to talk to everyone but there wqas only so much time. What a great show to see. The amount of restored ols iron and the efforts people have put into them is just over the top. Definitely more trips in my future to see it.

Wow, excellent job on the floor. Thanks for that Matt. Sorry I missed you. There was also a guy with an R model. green one all chopped down, nice and neat last I saw the information booth said there was 960 trucks showed up this year. Last year was a record well over 1000.

I'm bummed I missed you and a bunch of people!! Between talking and looking around the show, then the weather on Saturday, time went quickly. We showed up Thursday in the early afternoon. I thought that was early. Things actually start opening up and people arrive on Wednesday, now. Seems to get earlier every year. I think most people can only get Saturday to go as Sunday is Father's Day. If I go again next year I'll stay later through Saturday and maybe come back Sunday morning. The other thing I may do is put my name and phone number on the window of the truck so people can call me to meet up if I'm not there or meet at their truck which I did a few times Friday. Saturday just sucked with the rain and really put a damper on the festivities.
