Back in February, there was much noise about the president and Elon Musk traveling to Fort Knox to see if the gold was actually still there. Rand Paul also stated serious doubts.

And then............nothing. After weeks of noise, then not another word about it.

That’s what Trump does.  A lot of noise then Nothing.  Time and time again he has don’t the same thing.

He must have committed something. After all he was convicted of 34 felony counts.....Do you think he was wrongfully convicted?

I honestly don't know what to think of it. On one hand the jury was convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that he committed the crime(s). On the other hand its really hard for me to believe that he got an unbiased trial in Manhattan. On the third hand the crimes, although felonies, almost seem like technicalities. As I understand it, it is not illegal to pay hush money to someone if the information or act being kept secret is not illegal. Last I checked having an affair with someone, although majorly lacking morals, is not illegal. So the manner in which the payments were made and/or reported were falsified almost seems like a technicality to me. But if he wasn't prosecuted then it would essentially say he is above the law because lets face it, if this happened to anyone else you can guarantee the law would be coming down heavy on them and they would probably be looking at some form of fines and/or punishment. You have to remember Michael Cohen admitted to the whole scheme and literally rotted for three years in federal prison for his part in it, among other things.

they were selected and paid off to ensure all charges were found guilty

That is an incredibly serious allegation. I'd be curious to see what insane corner of the dark web that opinion was formed from. I'm not saying he got a fair trial. I don't know. But that statement is laughable.

it is not an incredulous accusation. the district attorney flat out said HE WILL BE FOUND GUILTY a month before the trial date was set.

and the judge and his daughter were paid 5 million dollars to make sure he was found guilty.

Please cite the evidence or source to this claim.

My guess is he/she was making that statement from a position of confidence having seen all the evidence. I’ve never seen an unconfident or humble trial attorney. Trumps defense could have said Mr. Trump will be found not guilty a month before the trial date was set. Lawyers will be lawyers……

I was selected to a jury about 15 years ago and the prosecutor said the exact same thing in his opening remarks. He said something to the effect of: “the state will show you overwhelming evidence and the defendant will be found guilty.” Sure enough the guy was without a doubt guilty. I was selected as juror #14 and on the final day all the original 12 were present and of sound mind so I was released and didn’t have to deliberate. My guess is it took the jury 15 minutes to come to a verdict.
