I expect that you will be careful when replacing the seal.  When you get the seal, post the part number. You and us can look for seal drivers for it, and if its cheap enough, buy it... Since you have 3 other wheels.. 🍻

well i hadda drop wifes explorer off for service and coolant leak,,,shuttle drove me home,,,,now i cant really do anything outside for a while i dont wanna get dirty till i find out if this thing is going to be a while,,,,i think heater core might be the issue and no i dont work on our everyday drivers anymore

oh also socket came from  Taiwan as soon as i saw that i knew it wasnt going to fit properly,,,it fits the big nut,,,,but i hadda hone out the 3/4 drive hole,,,,to get my bar in there,,,,wasnt surprized,,,,anything i get from that place doesnt fit right,,,,,especially aftermarket harley add ons   thier machining is horrible over there

That’s what I’m afraid of. I haven’t heard from them yet. I don’t know why they’re usually very good about callbacks. We don’t really need the car, but I’m thinking. Ca Ching ca Ching I remember back in the garage days we put a heater core in  a 69 Pontiac Grand Prix the book gives you eight hours

My boy had this thing about cruising around the farm with the AC on and the windows down, end result was the airvents would no longer blower air as the AC evaporator was choked with dust

Stuff me that was a huge job, seats out, dash out, pretty much every last thing out of the cab

What a bastard of a job, I was like a bear with a sore head and the Curley kid new it as well, but he had to help as he caused the problem he was sure as hell gunna fix the the problem, I coukd of throttled the little bastard

Anyway, it cured his desire to have the windows down will cruising about with the AC on

Big Bad Beautiful Sam, my old neighbour on the dairy farm took up driving trucks and he rolls into the cane farm one afternoon and tells me theiving bastards at KW in Townsville want 5 grand to change the fan in the heater/AC and can I do it for him, pop the bonnet (hood for you lot) and look and can see covers were it is on the engine side inside the cab, start u screwing things to have a better look and advise Sam it will take a couple of days to get it all apart and back together which was apparently what KW said as well

What a crap design, but we get this some times

Same ute as mentioned above, had a crook thermostat, gotta either drop the transmission or pull the motor

So yeah Ca Ching Ca Ching is probably about right

Ah well, at least she knows were she stands now

The Ford Explorers were sold out here for a while years ago, looked at getting the Princess a new one back then, maybe 30 years ago, back when we were full of hopes and dreams

I dunno why they never sold well out here, they looked the part

I bought Ford Ranger a while ago, 12 months or more, shouldn't have as I hardly drive it, but it does go well

Dunno if the Ranger is in the states or not, Ford Australia is bringing out the Super Duty Ranger, 8 stud wheels 4.5 ton towing capacity, skid plates to the back of the transmission, snorkle and all the tough stuff

Thinking maybe I should but probably won't

That looks like our new ford maverick pickup I suggested that but the old lady is all hot and heavy over a brand new pick up full size. We really like our 2006. It’s a four-door 6 foot bed but it’s tired and old and it has electrical issues I’m kind of hoping I could get a pretty good price for it. It’s been a pretty good dependable truck. I hate to give it away. I’d rather just sell the Mustang and fix the pick up and continue driving it. I have to keep it plugged now, slow trickle charger. I had it diagnosed the shop, said I had issues with the heater switches and the gauge cluster both drawing juice.
