I bought that truck when I worked for Mack. I have a few others, even an 'R' Model tow truck with an American Flag design. I think you have the same one.

So for a while now I have been a CDL trainer at work. I am currently working with 1 employee.  He's doing good, so for fun I thought I would give him a Birdseye view of his slow maneuvers course. As you can see, I only use the Best tools for this illustration. image.thumb.jpeg.7336e0d7b04fce4e1f84afea6879285d.jpeg

I love collecting toy trucks and trains. Do a good bit of modeling and I noticed a few others on here do as well!

nice unit. being an old man with bad eye sight , enlarged the picture still can't tell if bulldog is silver or gold. what is the specific model :: R685 st/ R611st ? reason for asking is determining transmission. tractor had a 5 or6 speed.

I have a DM 600 that I bought at Hobby Lobby in Macungie about 7 or 8 years ago, but I've never even opened the box. I see all the models you guys build, and the detail, time, and effort is just amazing to me. I could never do it justice and it's too intimidating to try, especially with the arthritis in my hands, so I just leave it on the shelf.

thanks for reply. R611 tandem dump with 9 speed way better than a 5 speed maxi .have seen tractors with 5 speeds made in to dumps many times only single axles. have some limitations when off roading job sights.

YOU can do it !!! good winter project; keep you out of trouble. I just acquired 81 brand new cans of model spray paint at an auction !! what colors do you want ; I'll send them out. LOL possibilities are endless. stretch the frame and make a 4 axle tractor. the one I showed You when in CT only took ???? months to build.
