Excellent thanks for that. That’s pretty frustrating about the photos. I did not know you didn’t have a computer. I also had problems with my phone.  it was easier when I had an android through tapatalk .. bob

That's great to hear!! So glad it survived the storm disaster.

Regarding the picture posting issue, it may be that your account has reached it's limit storage wise. I ran into this well into my postings on my build. I couldn't figure it out and edited some content out of my blog. I ended up contacting Barry to increase it by making a donation to the site. It helps keep the site going so we can all enjoy it. That may be the issue and I felt the donation was worth it to preserve my posting efforts and to help the site.

Yep, that's what I did and feel it was a great deal considering how much enjoyment I get from been a member here

Thank you, they are the original NOS sealed beams, thankfully they are 12v , I purchased the NOS fender turn signals and they had 6V , it was like a quick flash when I turned them on. Yes it’s been a rough 6 months, but we are slowly moving forward, we are able to use the new bridge, had to fill over 100 tandem loads of dirt around the shop, just got a power pole up last week, bay doors replaced, next step is replacing all the metal on the exterior.

The water must of been roaring

Truck looks amazing and the helper is there helping as well

Life really doesn't get much better I'm thinking

Thanks for all the comments & support,, yes upward and onwards, a day at time. And yes the worst part of this flood was the tremendous force of what 20-30 inches of rain did in the mountains, it really didn’t do as much water damage like most slow river flooding,, it literally just took everything completely away. The LJ was very lucky it didn’t get swept out with the current. This Peterbilt was about 50 miles away,,, Not as lucky as the LJ .

Wow that Pete took a battering. You know you hear about the flooding on the news but its only when you see the pictures someone like yourself took that brings it home how bad it was,not a 3min clip on the news...

Awesome to see you out and about in the LJ. It's been a long road to bring it back to it's current beautiful condition!! The floods were so devastating to the whole area and you property suffered significant damage. But, it's getting better, albeit, slowly. A lot of work to get your land back into useable shape and building that new bridge. Your grandson has grown quite a bit during this. I remember a picture of him standing up in the cab a while back, now I bet he couldn't unless he stooped over!! Looks like he's becoming quite the helper with your projects and you've given him knowledge and memories that'll last a lifetime, too.

Matt, Thank you!  Watching the B73 progress really kept me focused. And yes the flood was a major blow but we will continue to work through it. It’s been fun looking at pictures of my Grandson, he really got involved in it, you should have seen him last week going through the album with everyone. My Son was involved with it when he was that age but at that time in our life I didn’t have the time to keep going with it, that is how it got put in a shed for 25 years.. I found some old photos with My Son and Me when he was 2 days old, In 1990 , the LJ had been parked for 10 years then. The other is my Son at 6 years old, and I stopped working on it about that time,, Then My Grandson in early 2020 when he was 4 after dragging it out of the shed. Then last week,, Lots of Memories!

Lots of great memories and three generations surrounding the LJ. A similar story with me but surrounding a '27 Model T. I was kind of raised around it and still own it. First picture is when my dad brought it home in 1966, that's me with the hat, then a few in the '70's playing around with it. Up through '80's. It survived my teenage years, for a little bit it was a daily driver. First restoration was really sticking it back together, I had no real money for it. Second restoration was late '80's early '90's. My dad helped me re-wood about half the body. I've been all over New England in it and hauled it to Colorado on the back of the B42 to go on a national T tour in the Rocky Mountain NP in 2005.

Those pictures are priceless! I don’t have a picture of my Dad around the LJ ( Luckily I have a bunch of him with other old trucks, mostly Hennis Mack’s ) But he did drive the LJ , When I was 19 -21 still living at home if we had a truck broke down especially on the weekends he would ride with me in the LJ to the local trucking terminal and I would get a spare tandem truck and drive it to wherever the down truck was, saving time on towing it , Dad would always follow me in the LJ , then we would tow the broken truck back in , no pictures, just great memories. So it’s been through 4 generations.
