believe ALL B models were built in Allentown. the door tag only represents where the Corporate offices were at the time. the early 50's B models said New York ,Ny, then it was Plainfield,Nj. then some said Montvale Nj . and finally the R models said Allentown Pa

Paul, the first B-Model picture (Franklinville,NJ) is from a town near where I grew up in South Jersey and was a former Hess Oil truck. Both that truck and the truck I learned to drive on came from the same auction and were both 1963 models.ours had the wipers in the cowl like most B's . Guess i never really paid attention to the wiper location before!..................................Mark

Isn't that cool to find out. The B model I learned to drive is in Syosset L.I. sitting all restored in a garage and hasn't seen the daylight in 25 years. Sad. Paul
