  1. Rob, Here's another one for ya. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MACK-1974-R...1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. This really is a good group on this forum. Hope you all have a happy and prosperous new year.
  3. Rob, Have you seen this Ebay listing? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/mack-truck-...sspagenameZWDVW
  4. They each paid 9, X3 is 27. LESS(not plus) the 2 the clerk kept is 25. The amount the motel was paid is 25. The 30 is the MSRP. Nobody pays retail.
  5. A truck show in December. Sounds like a nice way to get ready for the holidays.
  6. It would be very easy to do with a subframe running from the front cab mounts to the rear of the sleeper and a set of mounts and air bags from a MH.
  7. All of my Macks have been converted to 2 batteries. Installed on the drivers side (closest to the starter). We use Group 31 with 1150 CCA. We start very few mornings less than 30 degrees here in NC. At 26 degrees on Saturday the MH with a 290 Cummins turned over just fine.
  8. You have 6, 7, or 8 speed. See if 2060, 2070, or 2080 are stamped on the drivers side of the transmission.
  9. The doors are the same as the R,DM and F model.
  10. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a12/bigma...nt=100_3129.jpg This is Roger Gerhart's U700.
  11. The high hoods might be a U700. There was some discussion a while back on another thread about these.
  12. Have you checked the rotation on this engine? For some applications they were set up to run backwards.
  13. Not all RM's were all wheel drive, but they were all set back axles. From the front you can tell the difference between the RD800 and others by the number of round bars in the grill. The RD800 had 6 and the RM, DM600, DM800, R600 and HMM only had 5.
  14. You need to take the valve off the top of the transmission to see why the fork rods aren't telling the valve the stick is in neutral or if the valve is not functioning properly.
  15. Final dtive ratio is 4.90 (5.77 X .85). Check out this road speed caculator. http://www.roadranger.com/ecm/groups/publi...t/ct_062746.swf
  16. Two different frames. Cruiseliner and Superliner 1 used one. Ultraliner, Superliner 2, and CL used another.
  17. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MACK-TRUCK-...sspagenameZWDVW Here's a set on Ebay.
  18. Call Roger at 610-367-6332 or 610-906-5542. He has a rebuilt advertised.
  19. I first saw the 2050 in the mid 80's. I have 2 in stock at $500 each. Keep in mind these are very fast transmissions. .6 to 1 overdrive. That means if your truck now runs 60 mph at 2000 rpm, with a 2050 it will run 100 mph at 2000 rpm.
