    Why pay $100 per hour for someone to keep changing parts until they finally find the problem. You would end up with a $1000 bill for a $30 part and someone else education.

    Looks like the guy running the camera was the owner of the company. Same last name. Maybe it was his son? The truck was probably down graded to site work only and never fixed. Good use for a Ford.

    16. The sheet metal bit is great for cutting metal drums in half or removing the ends.

    Roadway. They also had 2 fifth wheels. One came off with the tag axle and was then used as a dolly for pulling doubles.

    My engine list doesn't show the "90". But the production list shows 9815 of them built between '83 and '89.

    Is the cab on the "Western" raised with the exhaust run between the cab and the top of the frame? If so than the top of the hood will be about 3 inchs higher (relative to the top of the fenders) than the R model. You can see this difference in the distance between the line that is cast in the hood and the top of the fenders.

    Install a quick conect or a valve on the in coming fuel line at the injection pump. If the rack is stuck you will have a way to stop the engine before it blows up.

    I would think the engine would hit the firewall on a R700.

    I have two almost identical MH612's. One has a Mack the other a Cummins. The one with the Cummins has the transmission set 5 inchs futher to the rear than the one with the mack.

    EVERYTHING ON THIS TRUCK "LOOKS DM" INCLUDING THE VIN (DM865SX1002). MANY DM MODELS CAME FROM THE FACTORY AS TRACTORS.
