Hey guys, I need to know what would be a fair price on a 1957 B 753LT. No rust, and no major dents, the hood is rough though ( i am sure you could find minor dings but nothing major) tractor ran about 11 years ago and has been since stored either in a shop or under a lean too on the shop. I think the truck is in great shape for an unrestored truck. Yes this is my truck, regretfully I need to sell it. I havent had the time nor likely will have the time/money or a garage or shop to work on it anytime soon so I am putting it up for sale and the proceeds are going to my grandfather with alzheimers (who I inherited it from) who recently had a stroke. He is home and living independently but since I really have no time or means to restore the truck I felt selling it and giving my grandmother the money would be the right thing to do. So any help on what a fair price for the truck would be would be much appreciated. HG P.S. Even if my truck sells I am still going to hang out here. P.S.S. P.M. me if you need any additional information and check out my gallery, it has some pics of the truck. Yes the fenders are off but every piece is there.

Like slpwlkr I watched one episode last year while I was in a motel and that show is effing retarded. Like that bimbo (albeit a cute bimbo) that couldnt figure out that if you turn the steering wheel to get you key to turn in her pickup. From what little I watched it makes me happy those morons arent driving in my neck of the woods. Like all reality shows, a bunch of made up drama and danger to a relatively simple job i.e. Axmen, American Loggers, Ice Road Truckers etc etc etc.

So U's "parents" were good looking, but poor U's fell out of the ugly tree and broke every branch with there face on the way down.

Where abouts are ya at? I am about 35-40 miles from the Canadian border. Whitlash is the closest port to me. Good luck.

Look on you tube theakerstwo, there are a lot of pickups with screamers in them. Hell one has a twin stick tranny to boot. So keep on Ben, you will get a detroit in a pick up and it will be awesome.

I dont know for sure Vlad a guess would be 30's or 40's? There is an old refinery in the area that was opened in the 30's I've been told.

Who's ready for winter again?
HeavyGunner replied to TysonV's topic in Modern Mack Truck General Discussion
bring it on! I love winter, just got back from my big horn sheep hunt. Now waterfowl is open and I love goose and duck hunting and best of all trapping season and ice fishing is just around the corner! Woo Hoo!! I hate the friggin' heat, I dont do well in it but get the temps down low and I start to shine. -
saw these two R model mixers for sale in Havre, met this nice ole guy that was cleaning out the slop oil from a tank battery that I was hauling from, he said the truck has 60k Rockwell (or maybe Hendrickson) axles with a 5 and a 4 tranny. He said the truck weighs about 50k empty and top speed is about 54mph. I came across this wooden oil drilling rig abandoned in a field near a tank battery. I thought it was pretty cool to think that technology wise we were drilling with wooden rigs to keep the new modern car fueled with gas.

Know anyone that runs a coal bucket and loosing their job?
HeavyGunner replied to David's topic in Odds and Ends
Yeah PBO has the lower class in mind alright. Just the welfare rats that are leaching off if us ( people who work). Gotta hand it to him he found a huge untapped constituency. Promise them free shit and they vote for you. Next term blame previous administration and promise more free shit while condemning ambitious Americans who worked and made something of themselves. Pretty soon there will be too many on the free rise wagon and we will collapse and they will starve. -

I dont know how to post a link but just google how much money does the US give El Salvador and this is the second thing that came up that I copy and pasted from, In 1980, El Salvador's civil war officially began. The government-supported military targeted anyone they suspected of supporting social and economic reform. Often the victims were unionists, clergy, independent farmers and university officials. Over the ensuing twelve years, thousands of victims perished. Some of the most notable were Archbishop Oscar Romero (shot to death 1980), four US church workers (raped and murdered 1980) and six Jesuit priests, their housekeeper and her daughter (shot to death at home 1989). The military death squads wiped-out entire villages believed to be assisting the guerrilla efforts. In 1981, the military killed over 1,000 people in the village of El Mozote . The first reports of the attacks were denied by both El Salvador and the United States, but after the mass graves were uncovered, it was hard to deny what had taken place. As the military defended their stand of killing any alleged rebels, the FMLN also worked to blow-up bridges, cut power lines, destroy coffee plantations and anything else to damage the economy that supported the government. The FMLN also murdered and kidnapped government officials. As time passed, guerrilla efforts became more advanced. The FMLN progressed from using machetes and small pistols to using grenade launchers and other imported arms. Their advances became more strategic and better planned. The war persisted despite efforts from both sides to bring an end to the fighting. The FMLN refused to participate in presidential elections, feeling that any election results would be adjusted in favor of right-wing parties. The government refused to attended peace talks organized by the FMLN. Today many people say that that the Salvadoran civil war never would have lasted so long without the support of the United States. .... During the height of the war, aid averaged 1.5 million dollars a day. The US finally ceased support only in 1990 after the United Nations became involved, and Congressman Moakley confirmed reports of human rights violations. Eventually, the military aid from the US became reconstruction aid. Currently, the US sends about 30-35 million dollars annually to El Salvador. Looks like the "Evil Capitalist Empire of Republicans" saved your asses and is giving you tons of hand outs but like every other country we literally support you are willing to take our money then snear in our faces. -

Figured a comment like that would come from some jealous asshole living in a shithole. Sorry Randyp but I dont give a shit about warning points. I love this forum but wont stand by while some dick wipe insults Americans, on an American website formed around AMERICAN MADE Products on the INTERNET which AMERICA made so he could make a ass out of himself infront of the world on here. His country I am sure gets hand outs from our "Evil Empire". Piss off Busman7, if you dont like the US you are very welcome to give up all the things that American like toilets, electricity, lights, cars etc. etc. SHould I go on? -

In my opinion the only reason we are "welcomed" into the UN is because we foot the biggest portion of the bill for it. Eff the UN in my opinion. -

if we went back to our roots and government got together for a "Philidelphia Convention" 3 months a year and went back to their jobs after that we would get people that want to help run this country and not make a living off of it. I think your theory on having a revolt/civil war is probably more right than most would want to believe. My granpa has been saying things like that for years, he says once the people wake up and get sick and tired of things then they will see how crooked and out of line our government has gotten then they will do something about it. -
I am a young fella (30) and just cringe when I listen to what seems to be the majority of people that I run into or hear on some type of media talks about politics then tosses in a dash of morals and "rights'. I am honestly scared that we have enough retards in this country that still believe that there is such a thing as free shit and vote Captain Dipshit in again. I dont really call myself a Republican but when voting time comes around I sure as hell dont vote the democrats in if that makes any sense. I truly hope that the majority of American's arent being reported on in the media and we as a country turn back to the gritty self reliant melting pot that we were 100 years ago. Government shrinks, pays its bills and owes nothing to no one especially China, industry booms again since the enviromentalists have been silenced. We could turn things around become a country of producers not consumers/importers. Maybe we could even put America first and not apologize for being a great place. I hate to be a downer but if I am one of the few smart people left we are in deeeeep crap and I am young enough to have to ride it out these mistakes for a loooong time which to me is scary.

that blows, sleaze bag lawyers and judges should have to pay dearly for letting BS like that even entering the court room. Have no fear Obamacare will take care of 'em! LOL Hope things go better for you.

I don't think Chevy made a 401, AMC did. Cool ride for the money though.

I was just being a smart ass with a tongue in cheek joke about desolate extreme northern mt where I live. The theater I spoke of is only open occasionally and you need to call and make sure it's open first.
-
He left us with no good bye?! Holy moly I have a feeling that momma did somethin' terrible to him and we will never know!
-
Well if it's only open in 1800 theaters it isn't at the Roxy in Rudyard, Mt yet. Lol
-
Never heard of it. Is if a main stream movie that can be seen at theaters ? We don't have tv so I dont hear about up coming movies and such.
