Yep just like the Boston bombers. We knew they went and trained with terrorists and still let them roam around free. Guess if you want the us like isreal (fighting everyday) keep letting terrorists run the USA by giving them passes all the time. Again common sense tell me if you are on a terrorist watch list, have been investigated twice and we're still being watched obviously there was something up and he shouldn't be able to hurt gun rights because someone wouldn't keep a person of interest on a terrorist list from getting a gun which makes background checks a joke.

I will respectfully disagree with someone on a terrorist watch list and being investigated with terrorist ties being able to pass a background check and being able to legally be armed. In my opinion, at the very least, he should've temporarily not been able to pass a background check. Do you think they would've passed a back ground check for a hazmat endorsement while being on a terrorist watch list? I don't. I think no one wanted to be called a bigot or a racist because of "profiling " a muslim on a terrorist watch list so it was better for their careers to give him a gun. I'm 110% pro gun but common sense has to prevail.

Certainly not a looker but then most of he trucks aren't any more due to stringent fuel effiecency standards. Think how beautiful cars from the 30's to the 60's were then got (mostly) butt ugly after that. I guess we're moving toward a more fuel efficient ugly world.

I agree FC's are way cool but seem to be much rarer and more expensive.

For the last 8 or 9 years I've had my eye on a willys overland truck parked in a field near me. I'm friends with the owner and I told him all that time ago if you ever decide you're not going to finish your project I'll buy it. Well today was the day.. My friend decided he wanted to spend more of his retirement (and money) fishing rather than sinking money and time into a truck. He was a draftsman in the air force then started and ran his own airplane mechanic business with his brother and the last few years worked mostly on vehicles. He told me he rebuilt the engine a few years back, broke it in and since has moved no more than a couple of miles (back and forth from the field to his shop). Fresh gas and a battery and it fired right up for me and I drove it (very short drive) home. He also is giving me all the "inventory" he has collected for the willys. Engine blocks, pistons, cranks, cams heads, carburetors, oil filters and much more. I'm really looking forward to this project. The dog claimed the truck my my wife wanted to take a good pic of the truck

Anytime you buy any gun from an ffl holder you get a background check. For what ever reason pistols take a few days which never made sense to me. You also go through a background check every few years for a carry permit which I believe I heard the perpetrator had. Fun fact, there are over 20,000 gun laws on the books as of now. So it bears the question is it a new law that will fix this or enforcement of current laws that will fix this?

It's funny how no one has directly addressed the question, why was a person suspected of and investigated for terrorism by the FBI ever allowed to pass a background check to own a firearm???

I heard on the news that this terrorist was on the FBI's watch list TWO different times and was being investigated. How about rounding up these dinks that are in our country and sending them home instead of waiting for them to commit horrific crimes and then watch our government gasp fakely at what happened. If we know certain people are a problem (not all Muslims) or are associating or aiding the problems in anyway why don't we deport them? Living in the USA is not a right it's a privilege. Stop sending these countries who hate us money and invest that in our military and intelligence to keep here in the US. Then if someone screws with us we need to beat them into submission so furiously and un-pc like that they don't soon forget and on our way out drop flyers in the country's native tongue that says f*** with us ever again and no one in this country will live to tell about it. I'm sorry but the world has lost its fear of us which means they don't respect us and the world needs a reminder who they're messing with.

Don't forget the irs scandal he paid no attention to and the media ignored, or letting 4 Americans die and lying to the public about it with the dems nominee so it wouldn't ruin his reelection or going around the world apologizing for the US being great. The list goes on and on and on and on.....
