  1. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarite the good old days..... 318 they sound real good at idle and pulling...... wining tires something hardly anyone remembers these days... when I was young teen you could hear those things at night on the turnpike 1 mile away bob
  2. I had a horn like that on my DM I took it off and gave it away ,,25 years ago... now I’m kind of sorry I did that replaced it with a double trumpet east coast style high and low tones .....: kind of wish I would have left that original one on it. It actually sounded pretty good ...bob

  10. yes im quite familiar ,,,my DM has the same top end......kinda gets old in a hurry with everyone taking you apart on the highway...... gotta new transmission for it a few years ago.....im not sure if it will pick up the top end or not....bob

  16. well an old timer,,,i buy lawn mower parts off of,,,,told me when the recoil starter came out in 1955... thier was alotta older felles,,that didnt trust them for the longest time,, they were ordering the original wind around spool a number of years after........probably the same concept...lol.bob,
  17. as i mentioned too long ago to remember,,,but maybe my dad was test driving it for m,y uncle..it might have been a good deal and maybe my uncle was concidering buying it for a spare,,,i know he did have an emeryville he used to sent out when one of the brockways was down again too long to remember,,,,but seens he picked up the cornbinder somewhere around 66
  18. come to think of it,,,im sure it had a split windshield,,,,and no vents.....way too long ago,,and i was very small....i believe it looked like the white one............did bring this up before,,,,,but by pop picked me up in it,,,,,and i dont know what he was doing with it,,,because he was driving for my uncle back then,,,and my uncle had all brockways....bob

I had a really cool poster of my dad‘s company truck when I was a young teenager made it out of a bro sure my mom threw it out when I was around 20 she didn’t think I needed the kids stuff anymore on my walls I was furious Haven’t been able to find any photos of those trucks at all ever since beacon fast freight
