Well anyone interested I was able to go out and practice a little bit on my Lincoln welder yesterday weather was gorgeous finally around 200 so I set everything up with some scrap metal and made another attempt still not worth a shit but I think I’m getting slightly better… it’s sure not going anywhere near as fast as I thought I might have to just take a few classes

Oooooooooooo ya power mirror would been the bomb but that was way before anyone was using them our trucks all have them now…. Makes it nice especially when everyone can adjust accordingly when I get back in all I have to do is hit the switch instead of having to get out 40 times to find the right spot

My first tractor-trailer job nissens bakery Lynn Massachusetts. They tore down the building a few years ago. Kind of sad lots of good memories. It was a really good job teamsters . It was kind of strange . Once de regulation hit our business went down to a crawl I was hardly working . That’s when I move to California..

I did blindside a 45 footer into a hole F model sleeper cab, two shots. I did get out and look once to make sure I was lined up and not going to hit anything bunch of guys watching. I got out padding myself on the back they were all aawwed over this . I didn’t tell them I just got lucky.I was only around 25 haha bob

I did lose an outer tire rim cracked all around bolt pattern and fell off some where strange thing a buddy was following me entire night we were bullshitten on the radio he said he never saw it come off so yes Paul even with proper pre trip shit still happens that was around 25 years ago .., Bob

well i dont use it as much these days because most of our trucks do day and night shifts now and the morning its too cold then in the evening it goes out with the night shift....so im not going to keep washing it for the night driver,besides they usually bring them back from donner pass filthy,,,and yes our wash bay is also outside.canapy ..lites bucket of soap and brush and hose...bob

i remember when they moved the door handles from the middle of the door to the bottom,i didnt like that at all.to this day i still dont like the way they look.and yes im bored to death and pissed i was going to go out and work in my garage but its too cold and no sun,it was supposed to be warmer today..bob..

as far as eggs go,,,,everyone is jumping on the jack the prices routine these days. they figured out thier like water and gasaoline...nobody can get along without them,,,,we discussed this before...lately especially wood is a fortune and its garbage have to pick thru piles at home depot to find straight boards and plywood,,,,bob..

That’s pretty much the way my company still operates they will train guys off the dock to drive but everybody starts in the yard hostler have to do six months without any mistakes. If you hit something you have to get back on the dock and wait six months for another chance then if you pass that they train you on one pup and you have to do city work for six months before you can train on doubles.Bob
