  4. You can even keep it in manual mode and shift up and down manually with a switch
  5. Haha got to agree that’s about the only thing is irritating is coming to a rolling stop have to wait for transmission to decide what it wants to do but all our trucks have up and down switches you can decide what you want most of the time
  6. I haven’t adjusted a break in 33 years jobs usually have work shop with mechanics that do i check brake shoes on Congers before I picked them up. I’m surprised never noticed that. Oooooooooooo you mean big old wierd fat man stuck on the past… Bob

  12. Yes I am with you. I haven’t slept on my truck. In 32 years. The one thing I did like about it when you’re done you’re done you don’t have to drive anywhere just crawl in the back. Ha ha.

  14. I was trying to weld a piece of pipe to a chunk of angle iron. For some reason the weld wasn’t sticking to the pipe only the angle iron.

  20. I’ll be redoing the entire real section of my go kart I’m trying to get good enough to attempt welding most of it … bigger engine different axle possibly band or disc brakes

Well anyone interested I was able to go out and practice a little bit on my Lincoln welder yesterday weather was gorgeous finally around 200 so I set everything up with some scrap metal and made another attempt still not worth a shit but I think I’m getting slightly better… it’s sure not going anywhere near as fast as I thought I might have to just take a few classes
  23. Oooooooooooo ya power mirror would been the bomb but that was way before anyone was using them our trucks all have them now…. Makes it nice especially when everyone can adjust accordingly when I get back in all I have to do is hit the switch instead of having to get out 40 times to find the right spot
  24. My first tractor-trailer job nissens bakery Lynn Massachusetts. They tore down the building a few years ago. Kind of sad lots of good memories. It was a really good job teamsters . It was kind of strange . Once de regulation hit our business went down to a crawl I was hardly working . That’s when I move to California..
