  1. That combine is awesome. What will you do.with it? Mike
  2. Considering that Bush got this country into two wars that he had not strategy for no way of paying for and no way of.ending knowing that he would be out of office before it was over it is surprising to hear people blame the problems of.America on President Obama. I know the republican party gave you guys a tax refund, but how did that really help you or the country. I'm sure I'll get plenty of negative feed back on this, but i didn't bring it up. I like trucks, not politics. This is why the aths does.not.allow controversial subjects. Not everyone on here is a republican. Obama is not the cause of all of this country's problems. Say all you want. I won't be reading of the replies. If you want to talk about trucks I'm in. Mike
  3. I had a red head. I'd rather have a U model than another red head and I don't even like U models(sorry vinny). I'll stick with Macks and my brunette. Mike
  4. I want an ahrens fox piston pumper so bad it hurts. I wouldn't mind a diamond t 201 either. Thanks for the pics. Mike People want them because they are awesome.
  5. It is sitting at a shop just outside of Pottstown, PA. I'm sure it doesn't come from far away.
  6. I hope noone was hurt. Fire is my biggest fear since George Kaiser lost a building full of cars and trucks. Sorry to hear about it. Mike
  7. Here are some other trucks in their yard. A GMC 7500. It's been sitting their for a while. A Diamond Reo that has also be sitting for a while. A 1972 Autocar DC9364. It was offered for sale quite a few years back, but no takers. It has rusted pretty severely since then. Mike
  8. So I really didn't talk to the owner. I looked for the serial number. No luck, but the frame rail was nice and clean. U685T8853 And one of the inside. Mike
  9. In an attempt to keep young Vinny entertained, I went to the local truck repair shop and took pictures of this U685T. The owner said he has to fill the bed higher on the right side so it doesn't tip over going around right turns. Mike
  10. I heard he bought a Peterbilt and is now hanging out at Big Paccars dot com. That should get him.back on here.
  11. Neat bridge. Did you paint "Built Like a Mack Truck" on the inside of the bridge? I have to pee too. Mike
  12. I have not seen the truck except for passing it on the Pa turnpike. One of the firemen told.me the serial number. I found the add in the Pennsylvania Fireman. It's on page 156. It says V-8 twin turbo diesel 350 hp. It does not say it is a Mack engine. I'd like it,but i should not do it. Thanks for the input. Mike
  13. I didn't realize I had typed CF619. It is CF719F1012. I wonder if it came with they automatic. They had it about 14 years. I would like a CF at some point and one with a V8 would be awesome, but having just bought the A30. The CF has the usual rust. Mike
  14. How about tire life? They say tires have a finite life. I have heard 3-5 years. The rag tires on the back of my AC were put on in 1936. They are goodyear balloon tires. I forget the size, but something goofy like13.5x22. I have only driven it a total of 9 miles in three different trips. Max speed about 25. I have other trucks with 25 year old tires. Should they all be replaced if I am going to drive the trucks. Mike
  15. Here is the last picture of it. Now I'm headed to bed. I hear there is a U model dump truck at the local truck repair shop. Maybe I'll get you some pictures of that. Mike And here is a picture of a Dodge pick-up. I know you like them too. It was driven to where it sits. I think that was just last year. The owner took his drivers test on it. He is probably 75 years old now.
  16. Funny you should ask. I took some pictures. I had edited the post above. It says 5969.
  17. Your truck looks great. Good work. I bought two B73 emblems at the Spring Melt last year. They were odd things to have at a fire truck flea market. It is a shame they are not B75 emblems. I don't either model. Mike
  18. Very good, young Vinny. Here is a picture of the serial number plate from the door. Says its an F747. Here is a picture of the sticker on the door frame. I can't read the model number. Whatever ran down it ruined it. I can read U then T 5956. I could not find the serial number on the frame. I scraped around on it, but couldn't find anything. Sorry.
  19. Here is another picture of the ugly stepsister of the R model. That driver's door sure does look funny. The truck had belonged to Scout Trucking of Spring City, PA. Scout was an off-shoot of Jones Motors. Someone had posted a bunch of pictures of Jones Motors and Scout trucks last year sometime. It currently resides about 0.1 miles from my house at Stainless Corporation.
  20. Saw this truck down the road at the steel plant. It is their jocky truck. If anyone likes this kind of thing I can post some more pictures. Mike
  21. If you can't sell the truck whole I am interested in the cab. I have a H613 that i could.use some parts for. I would like.to.see the whole.truck saved, but i don't have room for another truck. If you are not in a hurry to sell it you should advertise it in double clutch. I am also interested in the parts manual, but only if you can't sell the whole truck. Thanks, Mike yarnallvmd@hotmail.com 610 764 8283
  22. It might be. My F715 has a naturally aspirated 864. Mike
  23. Does anyone know what size V8 a CF719 has in it. I am looking at a 1972 with an automatic. Thanks Mike
  24. I can't make it. Get me some good deals. This new A model is stripped. Mike
  25. It looks brand new. Great job.
