  1. Over $10,000.00 in new Mack CH613 parts that fit mid 90's for sale. These parts are out of my overstock inventory that is in new condition and most in boxes but not all. Interior parts, gauges, switches, wiper parts, a/c parts, sensors, some engine parts, steering component's and door parts. If you are looking for something just contact your local Mack dealer and get a part number and contact me, remember this is old inventory and Mack has had a part number change recently so see if you can get the older part number. I will sell part by part or lump some. If interested in lump sum I will make you a great deal. These parts does not have any kind of warranty, they are genuine Mack parts but purchased years ago. I have tried to down load a list on here but not able to at this time.
  2. I sawed a 98 CH613 on ebay and I axed the boss if he was interested. He said he was. It is a E7 427 rated at 500 hp with 50200 miles. Is it a mechanical motor or computer. It looks good in the pictures but we need to see it in person. Is this a good truck and motor. I know all Macks are good but some are better than others. I need something that runs faster on the interstate. The '81 is screaming 1900 at 60 mph. Basically should we buy it of stay away from it. Thanks in advance
  3. I have a 1993 CH613 E7-400 no start..Used to run fine but is shut down and has not started on its own.It looked at first the issue was at the harness plug from the back of the injection pump...We removed and soldered the wiring but still have a issue..OK but I can get it to start by adding a quick ground to pins 1 or 2 at the ecm(output to the fuel actuator)..beceause when I remove the shutdown relay put the powerprobe at pin 87 i have a ground feed from ecm through fuel actuator but when i turn the key on it drops out..grounds have been cleaned and checked on the truck.. Also when its running the RPM gage does not work either, same there if during cranking I add a quick ground to pin M4 on the gage cluster it starts and runs...1. it almost like a ground in the ECM is bad 2. but if the ECM was bad would it run at all? 3. when it does run there is no tach (looks like the ECM processes the tach signal) Questions 1. does any one have a in depth wiring diagram of the bosch ECM for this? I have the basic VMAC diagram 2. If I replace the ECM would a ECM from any 1994 E7-400 work? Does the dealer need to program a used ECM 3. or is there a oil sensor signal needed to give this ecm a ground to start up? 4. Am I missing some stupid here
  4. 1993 ch 613 in need of cab. What years will fit, and any good suggestions on where to locate one. Tia
  5. hello frends. a frend came to our truckshow this weekend. his ch started to run bad and the last miles it only idles. if you step on the trotle nothing happens. if you start the engine it runs at 800 rpm and when you step rthe thotle it fals down to 600 rpm. it has a electronic throtle pedal. the engine malfuction light comes on as soon as you start the engine. hope that someone can help me. my frend went home by train to pick up his other truck and come back to pick up his trailer. he left the ch at my place to see if i can get it running again. thank you very much. leon.
  6. I recently purchased a 2001 Mack Ch-613 with a Super 10. I converted it into a tandem dump truck. I just changed oil (3 oil filters) and 2 diesel fuel filters. I really don't know on what intervals to change them. I saw on a couple of different topics when they change theirs but they were for different models. I have 960k miles on it. I'm super excited to get to work with it! I've driven a couple of Kenworths but I've always preferred the bulldog of the industry. So any advice or recommendations you may have I will greatly appreciate it. Also, since I dont have an switch for an rear axel power divider, I've read that it's automatic. Hopefully someone can help clarify on how it works. Thanks!
  7. I'm looking at buying a 2007 Ch-613 E-7 427 that has 312,000 miles. It had its frame stretched/doubled to haul a 5000 gallon water tank and I am seeing mixed reviews on the 427. I have a 96 RD-688SX that's been a workhorse and like to know if the 07 can be as dependable. Can anyone offer their thoughts? Thanks
  8. Need this ecu for my ch613. 427 horse..
  9. I purchased a 1991 Mack CH613 Truck which was converted to a day cab. It now has a 22 feet, 500 bu (30,000 lbs) grain bed with hydraulic hoist. The truck has camel back suspension and when fully loaded has approximately 3 1/2" of space between the bumper stops and axles. When traveling down the road the bed seems to sway back and forth and whether dangerous or not, makes me uneasy about the truck flipping at reasonable speeds. Timbren makes a suspension kit model MRCH, that attaches where the bumper stops are attached. Is any one familiar with this kit? Will the suspension kit help with the sway issue? Any other suggestions? Everett
  10. I've almost convinced myself it wouldn't be a smart move to purchase this truck but I need a second and possibly a third and a fourth opinion to help convince me before I make my final decision. The truck is a 1999 Mack CH613 with a high top sleeper. It has about 900,000 miles on a E7-427 Mack engine and 10-speed Fuller transmission. The owner rebuilt the engine himself and after about 1000 miles an injector went bad. God only knows why but the shop he took it to completely tore down the engine, put the parts on a pallet then put both the truck and pallet outside. He believes it was because they thought he was just a "dumb ass truck driver" (his words) and didn't know he was actually a Certified Diesel Mechanic who rebuilt the engine himself. When he got the truck back the wrecker that towed it home didn't bring the pallet of parts. He only has 2 of the piston and rod assemblies, the turbo and possibly the rocker assemblies. The liners are not there but all the external parts (fan hub, alternator, starter, a/c, accessory drive, oil pump, power steering pump, harmonic balancer) are all still on the block. He said he couldn't afford to rebuild it again, especially with a rusted head and crank so it's been just sitting up for the last couple of years now. In his opinion the crank and head are too badly rusted to reuse and the truck will need a complete engine replacement. My friend, who has not seen the crank, thinks it can be polished and reused. We're looking to cut costs by repairing the engine instead of replacing it. Also we could possibly cut costs if it could be trailered the 160 miles to our shop but with the sleeper measuring approximately 12' 9" high the owner believes it will need to be towed by a wrecker. The owner is asking $3,000 for the truck. I think that's fair. Sold off for parts I believe it would bring much more than that. I've searched online and $7,000 minimum for an engine was the best I could do. He said it was an E7-427 engine but I also saw an E7-427 ETECH and I'm not familiar with that so I'm not really sure which one I should be pricing. I don't have a clue about towing so I'm guessing at least $1500-$2000 or more for that. I'm comparing all that to two running CH613's I saw online for $9,900 and $12,500. When you add it all up unless I can cut costs somewhere I'm thinking this would not be a smart buy. Now if you guys can offer some suggestions on how to cut costs or know somewhere I could get a short block cheaper then let me know. I join forums with the hopes of meeting people with more knowledge and experience than myself. In doing so I hope to educate myself and rid my mind of ignorance. Your participation in this discussion is greatly appreciated.
  11. i have a 2001 ch613 and there is an air leak under the cab. it is coming from a hose connected to a valve or regulator or somthing. when i plug the end of the hose, the cab lifts up via the air bag. the hose llos like it is supposed to be short and it doesnt look damaged. is it supposed to be connected to somthing?
  12. I bought this truck back in December I stripped it all down sandblasted frame new brakes, mufflers, tires, all the the aluminum was polished truck is finaly done just going to get lettered next week
  13. I Have a 96 ch613, it has an overheating problem and I can't find the problem maybe a little help would be nice. I've changed a thermostat, coolant filter, flushed the radiator and added fresh coolant. And still overheating!!! My heads drops to my chest in disappointment(money down the drain). Fan is spinning I believe the fan clutch is working. could it be a water pump issue? I don't know. Any advice?Anybody went through what i'm going through? tired or spending money just need to get my doggy back barking again. To top it all off When i changed the oil, the pressure was nice 30 psi at idle but after 3 hours i'm back down to LESS than 20psi at idle
