  1. Here's some pictures of My Brothers 1972 R797ST1021 as it's coming along! Some before and after. Enjoy, Josh
  2. I'm looking for a Mack Superliner tri axle dump truck with an aluminum dump body. Truck doesn't need to be perfect, but I'm not looking for a project either. I'm not to picky on the drive line. I would consider a steel body on one if the ruck was really decent. If any body knows of one let know. I'm located in north west Pa. Many Thanks, Josh
  3. I believe the 12spd came out around 1971/72 and ended in 1999. As for the sticks being in different spots Mack made 12spds with 2 different gear shift locations. Generally R models and DMs shift out of the front tranny case. Some Superliners, some R700s, DM800's, RD800s, and CLs shift out of the middle tranny case because of the cab being back further. They had different shifting rails but the ones like in the Superliners could still except the gear shift for extended range in the front case as well as the middle case just because of the way the fork was made. I have seen several exceptions to the rule so maybe yours falls under that category. I can post some pictures of the 2 different spots later to show the difference. Hopefully this will help. Thanks, Josh
  4. A friend of mine that lives down the road from that truck just told me the other day that she had sold her Black V8 CL and and was going to keep the Superliner for now, so I'm still on the hunt for now unless she decides to sell it as well. She knows I'm interested so I guess that might help. Day late and a dollar short. The story of my life! I would buy it in a minute. Josh
  5. is thi Is this Super still around? I've been looking for one set up like it with not much luck. Any body know of any? It doesn't have to be perfect but it does need to be workable. I'm in Northwest, Pa. Thanks, Josh
  6. Cool save! You gotta love R700s. I think looking at your pictures that the rears are 44 rears not 58s. the older 44s had the trunion like the 55,58 rears. Our B61 is the same way and being that that is a 69 that would be the right era for it. I see it even has Farr air cleaner I see. Great find. Thanks, Josh
  7. 'C' stands for California certified. As for differences between an EM9-400 and a E9-500 you pretty much got it covered. Josh
  8. Just curious if any body has a complete red, brown or blue diamond tuck cruiseliner interior or parts of an interior they would be willing to part with? The Cruiseliner my brother and I have currently has a plain Jane brown interior but we would like to fancy it up if at all possible. Send me a PM if you know of any thing that would help. Thanks, Josh
  9. Might have to snatch that up for my EF as the Cab is shot on it.
  10. Since I got my last Acmoc issue and read the article I actually have decided to repower My E model with a one of these engines(the D312 which is a 4 cylinder version of the D468) that I've had for a few years. I think it would be a great project because the motor in my E is not original and is full of water. The D468 is the same basic engine(the D4600) as the Cat D6 dozer, No. 12 grader, and DW10 scraper of the time. The D312 was the same basic engine(the D4400) as the Cat D4 dozer and No. 112 grader of the time. Thanks, Josh
  11. were did you find the Neway air ride for that thing. I've been looking for that set up for one of my models for a while but everybody is sold out or out of business. Thanks, Josh
  12. Man that thing is B E A Utiful. You can't beat a Superliner tri axle. I've been looking for one set up like that. Thanks, Josh
  13. rigchaser do you have a larger picture of the blue Superliner in your profile pic? thanks, Josh
  14. I remember seeing a blue Superliner tri axle milk truck going with my Dad in his Superdog when he'd go get cement in Besser, Pa. Always looked really good going the other way on the interstate! Wish I had a picture of it. Josh
  15. Might be a little different mountings for a 866 compared to the E9. E9 AC belt runs off the crank balancer and the 866 had there own AC drive that was optional on the right side of the motor in the same place that the generator drive is on the 864s. Thanks, Josh
  16. I always thought it would tip the other way . All joking aside she's looking really good Vinny ! Hope to see it at Macungie! Thanks, Josh
  17. I might need some other parts for my project if you don't need them for yours. Keep me posted. Thanks, Josh
  18. I bet That picture was taken in Meadville Pa at the bottom of the big hill on Rt77 coming into town where Rt 77 meets Rt27. They don't let trucks down it any more because of to many truck run aways over the years. Josh
