  1. I'm not sure about if you can still get the original style turn signals or not, I would ask your mack dealer. but I can answer your bumper question . On a 600 they came with a a normal straight under the hood bumper and one on some heavier models where set out about 4 inches, but used the same bumper. But the big deep taper bumper with center tow pin that could be ordered on a 700(and later came in a angled back style on the CL series ) Had a longer frame out the front. So the center tow pin was mounted in a heavy crossmember between. Also something else with the model #s on superliner IIs ,the middle number identified its engine make. Same for 600 and 700 series. A 713 had a mack , a 733 had a cummins , a 753 had a cat. Hope this helps.
  2. I have an e6 300 and a fuller 7LL I am removing from my 87' superliner. 106k , 3500hrs. Runs great and trans shifts good. Can Any one tell me what they are worth ?
  3. Sounds like the engine I'm building for in my superliner, went with the C model for its bigger stronger crank. With a different cam, bigger turbo , steel dome pistons and inj. work we plan on 600+ hp.
  4. I own 4 western star gliders and love them, but that is alot cheaper !
  5. Alot ran 12r rubber instead of standard 11r, and the pointy hubs are nose cone rears, came on 44s on up back in the day.
  6. Like that when I got it from previous owner, looks like hood was changed and painted a shade to dark.

  9. The door swap is possible , but some of the newer doors have a different limiter strap set up that can be a pain to make work together and keep it from going out to far and taking the paint off.
  10. The 50k mack rears run an axle shaft that is the same as a 46k rockwell other then the splines. Hub and bearing ,wheel seal etc. the same. Thats the reason for all the studs you're not used to seeing with mack rears.
  11. If thats the red and black one I'm thinking of, the frames broke or badly bent.
  12. I've bought 5 new stars in the last couple years, great trucks. Most of what I have are gliders, but I saw this truck last summer when I toured the Portland plant. Massive and interesting truck, John was even the lucky one to take use on the tour and for some lunch, great guy. Some where my wife has a pic of me standing on the step, really shows how massive it is, ill have to see if I can find it.
  13. Last I checked ,the hendrickson air over walking beam kit was over $5grand !!
  14. Don't forget that big crack in your cab mount before you mount the box !
  15. Fyi Josh, that '93 had some good rust in the rails. Got some pics on my phone from her an decided it was'nt what I was looking for.
  16. I ended up buying one in mt and decided not to hassel with boarder issues , but had no problem PM ing him through this site.
  17. I think I know to what you are referring to, I went back and forth on that truck with him a couple months back with no problem. But I PM ed him. Try that, you should get a response .
  18. It would be the RW and CL for me, like a nice LTL too !
  19. You could still get the rubber for end of hood a few years ago, don't know if it's still avaliable now or not.
  20. Yep, I had an '89 someone had done the same way, worked fine. My '87 does'nt have air and hope to add it,plan on taking that path with it.
  21. Worked with a few of these trucks over the last few years, they where broke down almost as much as they worked. That's the real reason for poor sales, won't be missed by most !!
  22. Thanks gunner, I see your in Montana. I found one there and bought it, Great rust free 713 south of livingston by pray.
