E7 454 With V Mac 1 Shuts Down

I just got one 3 weeks ago,it's a 95 with same motor. I love the truck so far, but the thing shuts off once or twice a day, no one can tell me why. (look back in forum 2 weeks ago) But like I said it seems like a great truck, rides good compaired to my superliners. Must be the long front springs. Good luck.

Hi guys, wondered if anybody ever ran into this. Have a 8LL that repeatedly pops out of 4th & 8th gear thoughout the day. Loaded or empty, on the fuel or not, just doe'nt want to stay in that hole. Replaced detent springs in shift tower,but did'nt make a differance. Could the shift forks in the trans. need replaced ? Thanks for any help,Rich.

1995 CL 700 e7 454 with v mac 1, engine just shuts down once or twice a day. starts right back up with no problem. electronic malfunction light comes on, but all power stays to dash. Local mack dealer repinned the plug at the pump but this did not fix it. Any ideas would be a big help. Thanks

Anybody know if you can still get the big superliner bumbers with the tow pin in the center? I have two trucks with these on them, one nice, one not so nice. The standard bumbers with two small tow pins won't bolt up. Thanks Rich

Broken Wiper Arm Stud On A Superliner

Hi guys, I just bought a '92 RW733 over the weekend (superliner#5 for me),and the prev. owner had busted the stud of the wiper arm shaft. When I tried to drill it & use an easyout it split the shaft in two places up through the splines. It has elec. wipers.Can you buy just the splined shaft & bracket it's welded to & pry the old one off and jam the new one back one ? Every thing almost apears to be pressed together. Just hoping to avoid replacing the hole linkage system. Any info would be a big help. Thanks in advance, Rich.

Hi guys, I have a '90 superliner with a e6 350. It does'nt like to start under 40 degrees,but if you run the block heater over night it starts right up with almost no smoke.I also have a'89 superliner with the same engine, it's not been pluged in yet & always starts right up. Any ideas on this? Could it be something in th injection sys.? Thanks!

Hi guys, could someone give me a little advise on transmissions? I have a '90 RW713 with a 7spd. (2070A).It has 5.23 rearend gears.I would like to swap it for something with more gears,but do not want to change rearends. I've never driven a 12spd. and just wondered if top gear would be close to the 7spd.?Thanks.

Hi out there, new to the site. Was wondering if anyone could tell me the differance between the em6 & the e7 engines. Also,could you take a (jake) brake from a e7 & put it on a em6 with dynatard?
